Another question as per your video a long term investor should not sell irrespective of what happens in the market. Now if someone has invested 1 lac, after 3 years he observes he gained no profit should he stay invested in that share or should he exit it despite the fact it was a large cap stock with a high brand value like HUL or TCS

Parimal sir, your right, on recent 21dec fall i got panic on federal bank that fell from 66 to 60, so next day morning same fall continued till 57.5, with fear i sold all stocks with 4 rupee profit per share but by evening market recovered. I have waited for 75 days but 21dec totally shook my thoughts and driven me into profit booking. Infact I thought if it falls below 53 then i can rebuy on same day but i missed the chance. So, for retail investor is short booking is coorect in falling market to get reposition in low value???
As far as Im concerned profit booking is mainly done to save LTCG. pls clear my doubts
What about i take out the 11 lakh and put in the same stock ( in my case its a good fundamental stock)

Suppose i have goal to to build a house after 20 years .. and I invested some good stock , by chance after 20 year any sharp market fall happen , and the price came to almost the starting point . Then how my goal will be achieved sir..

Proper Portfolio will take care of that issue. Eg: Don't put all eggs in one basket.
Indians should be taken into confidence by inviting them to invest in mutual funds or stock markets with proper guidance and education. There is no benefit if our investment remains in gold as for many of us it is a dead investment. Indians should become aware that stock market is not a gambling arena but a great place to make better profits than gold investment. Please pray your active role. Acche din will come if we open our eyes and utilize the better opportunities. Internet access will make people aware of stock market / mutual fund opportunities. Misleading should stop and govt. should be aware not to allow innocent people duped by ponzi schemes.

please show your teaching by examples sir. I think if we dont book profit , during market corrections our profit will be lost or levelled to the original investment , then to rise again it may take years ... so this is remain as a dilemma .. show examples with case study in both methods please .

Your strategy will make bromerage firms rich , if i am holding 100 shares of fundamentally strong company , if share price appreciats by 10 percent i must sell shares worth that 10 percent , tomasrow say after 1 month share may again appreciat i will sell another 10 to 25 percent . This way i remain invested and earn profit as well . Your suggestion of selling all shares is applicable only in volatile times and for small cap companies. Sorry this stategy will make only brokersge firms rich.

I have a basic question , suppose I have invested 1 lac in 100 shares at a price of Rs 1000 in a stock X after doing thorough research on its fundamentals, industry and my intention is to be invested for long term. Now in a bullish market I get a profit of 25000 , suddenly markets start going down and my profit reduces to 20000. So can I sell shares worth 20000 and book profit?? Basically share price increased to 1250 and reduces to 1200 so I sell 18 shares approx and move it to liquid fund. Now I have 82 shares and I buy the stock again if price goes below 1000 in future , is that a reasonable approach?
The same I am also thinking .. I think it is very complicated .. to understand the right strategy.
It's true trend will be up for good stock .. but our life time is only once .. after investing for 20 years. Not booking any profit, at the time of reaching 20 long term target market can fall and suddenly we are at the staring point .. omg it's not easy to understand this stuff.
