YG evaluations are pretty brutal. Each trainee performs on three stages in a month: solo song, group song, group dance. Choice37 was trying to make sure that Pharita wasn't trying to overwork herself since she still has the solo song and group dance that she is also practicing for. He was telling her that he knows that she would get it but she is on limited time since I think in Korea there are laws about idol trainees that are underage. They are only allow to work for a certain amount to time (not sure if it was in effect during the recording) and they are also doing things like vocal lessons, language lessons, dance training. Also, if you noticed in the introduction videos that the Korean member attend school. So all of these girls also have a lot to do and basically this in itself is a lesson that they need to be able to rely on each other and become tighter together as one unit. Jennie surprised everyone with that hair color in April 2022 so we know that the BLACKPINK mission for BABAYMONSTER was recorded in April 2022. Not spoiling anything here but what I can say is that episodes 1 - 4 is all in the same month April 2022 and episodes 5 - 8 is the actual "Last Evaluation" for the trainees. You should also watch the "Behind the Scenes" as it shows the girls in more everyday situations and shows their personalities. I don't remember when each one actually aired but they are short and you could add them to one of your reaction to the episode that it followed or watch them all together in one video as it doesn't have anything to do with the Last Evaluation training so it won't spoil things.
Don’t be so gullible. This series is like professional wrestling. The narrative is fake and preconceived. YG and staff’s goal is to heavily promote Ahyeon. They control the editing, the circumstances and the narrative.
@@jbiehl8478 I am going off of what BLACKPINK talked about when they were trainees. There is three stage that they do every month and they talked about how hard it was at the time. It still didn't prepare them for the negativity that they received after debut. Lisa had death threats because she was Thai in a K-pop group. Jennie still receives hate to this day about her performance. And people kept talking about Jisoo only being the pretty face of the group with no talent. If BLACKPINK members had to go through all of this then what about the members of BABYMONS7ER? They are already criticized for being too young. The series was more about showing the world that they trained hard and is ready to debut. So yes, it is marketing because YG already knows that these girls will meet challenges when they debut but because of this series it made them gain fans from around the world to hopefully make it easier for them to debut. I don't think you really know how marketing works. Yoiu keep mentioning Ahyeon and about it promoting her but giving the negative that you are doing is just as good of marketing as this series does. The more times that it is mentioned on the internet even negatively will bring that person to the forefront. I work with web and analytics also with many other aspects of marketing so I know that just by you keep mentioning how it is geared toward Ahyeon, the controversy only makes her stand out. Instread of being so negative you should instead show you support for the other members and talk about them more. You negativity toward Ahyeon can drive more people to like her and it is hard to forget someone when someone else keeps mentioning their name.
Jennie’s peach/orange hair was in spring of ’22 promoting Born Pink. She was a great mentor to the girls in this series. Looking forward to next episode!
2:35 if you go back to Haram clip when they made the Birthday Cake. on your reaction clip, stop at 8min50sec to 55sec. Try and count how many girls are in that room. it is more than 7, I was thinking like 10. some of the faces were blurred out, as these girls did not make it through to the Last Evaluation. So girls are being cut all the time, Chiquita was in this clip, so you know this was taken about a year and a half ago, as she just recently joined YG training. Just some food for thought as you get through these Evaluations.
[Dont worry no spoilers]. The girls are literally standing in the Shadows of Giants, and hopefully one day Standing on the Shoulder of Giants. Imagine going from being a trainee to being a Selected Trainee and told you have a chance to debut for YG?!?! Its an opportunity of a lifetime, and you aren't even an adult yet. They get to see their idols in real life! This is an opportunity and they are making the most of it. The pressure is very high and they are so tense because they are afraid of letting themselves and their teammates down. I felt so much sympathy for Pharita when the Mentors changed her part but I also realized that good mentors see your potential and they know your capabilities. Those mentors in the recording booth must've known what vocal range Pharita was capable of, and they made the decision to save her from failure. The mentors (coach) puts them in a position they are best suited for, just like basketball, who is playing Center, Forward, or Guard. Since Ahyeon is an All Rounder it makes sense that she can be placed in any position, while Pharita has a different position she is more suited for.
The trainees get to pick their own song for Monthly evauations, with input from the vocal and rap trainers I'm assuming. So if they've done only English songs, thats because they were songs they wanted to sing, not songs they were made to sing. In the The last Evaluation episodes, some songs are picked by Choice or other producers/trainers, other songs they pick themselves :) Choice37 has been with YG entertainment for many years. Made songs with BigBang, BlackPink, Winner, Ikon, and probably BabyMonster in the future :)
Ahyeon is probably the most talented or gifted member. She exudes the leader vibe but Chiquita is the most magnetic. She has the X factor. People will love the group because of Chiquita. Monthly evaluations are hell cos if you don’t show improvement or aren’t up to scratch they’ll just cut you no qualms. So the pressure to impress is insane. Becoming an idol is brutal.
This was a great series and emotional roller-coaster was Nuts, you avoided it coming late but we have to relive it all again watching your reactions hahaha

That chorus run is so difficult, Rose doesn't sing it live. It's too damaging to the vocal chords during a full concert.

4:43 don't worry, at the end of episode 8, you'll be baemon expert
She has eyes like a doll.🦈
...Until she bites you, and those black eyes roll over white.
@@CrucibleBlack13 I'm glad someone got the reference. Anyway I thought it was better than saying mannequin eyes.

1:00 first girlgroup specifically, not the first in general.
In general they also debuted a boygroup, Treasure, in 2020.
Can't wait for you're next ones. Try not to get any spoilers

I can't wait for Ep 2. BTW and on a different not Chiefs home opener against Detroit on Thursday 9/7. But you already knew that. 🙂
Heck yeah! I really want to try and go to some games this season. I wasn’t able to go at all last year.
@@KonniJune5 In that case I will live vicariously through you this season. lol
crack on , 😅 now you're finally getting to it
Ahyeon and Pharita speak English fluently
Your expression on the cliff hanger cracked me up. *"Spoiler"* You will experience a lot of cliff hangers on this series. Sorry.
BTW you will be attached to all 7 emotionally by week 6
Keep in mid KJ, Rose' has never sung it that way live so they are being extremely challenged. Ahyeon and Pharita are fluent in English. #cliffhanger
Why did you miss the character playlist video😢
