The carol may originate from the 1400s but to sing at least this version anywhere other than The Queen's College, Oxford, is a malapropism: as can be seen from the last line, 'In the Hall of Queen's (College)'. Some other version of the line should be sought if sung anywhere else.
The so called history of this is so obviously counterfeit in this video it's embarrassing having said that we sing the boar's head carol with many others In Sheffield
I believe this tradition has been carried on at one of the colleges of Oxford University, Triinty I think, for tens of decades. There is plenty of evidence in writing and online that the carol has existed for many centuries.
