Putra Mosque, Putrajaya Malaysia 🇲🇾

The Putra Mosque (Malay: Masjid Putra) is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. The construction of the mosque commenced in 1997 and was completed two years later.
It is situated on Putra Square and is adjacent to the man-made Putrajaya Lake.
The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed using rose-tinted granite and comprises three main functional areas-the prayer hall, the Sahn (courtyard), and various learning facilities and function rooms. The mosque can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers at any given time.
