Those only carry 1 specific item those are not even close to useful

With the llamas and donkeys you could have more storage by putting in shulkers inside and enderchest and put it in the chest on the donkey or llama and fill the rest of space with more shulkers. You’ll end up having more space with the bundles.

you can also store things with baby piglins. They have 8 inventory slots, and can pick up and drop any item. Adult piglins only pick up gold related items, and porkchops. They drop these items if they have them, aside from gold ingots, and either kind of porkchops.

For that last one, you could use it for Shulker Box storage to maximise efficiency, and, if it is for a singular block, use that block behind the Item Frame/Shulker.
The best storage mod is simple storage network. Easy to use, very useful. Pairs well with iron chests too.
For the last storage system,
You can put prizes like diamonds, gold, emerald, etc.
Then put a barrier, and make a hole.
If your on multiplayer, Invite some people and see if they can shoot their own prizes with a crossbow.
That super Mario Galaxy music at the start really hit me in the feels out of nowhere 😢

You can also put shulkers in lamas and donkeys meaning you get an extra 9-15 slots of shulkers

It becomes way more useful with shulker boxes. You could store 405 stacks of items inside of a donkey with them.

Yesterday i infected and cured two villagers to make a lot of emeralds.
I do that. Also, tie them to a fence post in the mouth of a cave. If you fill up, just put some of your stuff on the donkey and keep caving
If you want to pack more stuff on your donkey or mule just put the stuff you want to bring with you in shulker boxes and then put the shulker boxes in the mule or donkey
actually the side account for storage thing is pretty genius! Since it doubles your enderchest space and you could easily fill your second account's inventory and ender chest with shulker boxes and have it leave the game afterward, giving those items perfect security as long as the admins don't ban you for it.

2:45 the BEST use for hoppers as a chest is that it won't aggro Piglin, where almost all other storage upset them once "updated". It's only 5 slots, but it's better than nothing.
Just make a wall of hoppers(near the portal/piglin) that go into each other to stop them from draining, which is good for storing gold ingots for the "transactions", lol. Or just make a portal-based "gold farm" that links to a busy piglin area in the nether.

Here's one a shulker that's empty
Then get enough shuliers that they all fit in the same shulker then fill them with the items you wanna keep and then put all shulkers into the empty shulker
And rinse and repeat!

to be fair donkeys could be the perfect camouflage to hiding rare items in multi-player worlds, because people who would potentially try to steal from you wouldn't immediately take note at the donkey

What about shulker box search engines? They store all your items in shulker boxes and then search through them all for a specific one. This could even be a named tag
Of anything it's better to use a mule or donkey, they can always carry 15 items, and a lamma has a 0.8% chance of having 15 slots, so I suggest you use a mule, or donkey.

I remember when I died in a single player world. I thought my items were too far away in some part of the world and they would despawn. Thanks to #14, I eventually found my way to that place and none of the stuff despawned.

The carnival game setup at the end has a lot of promise as a mini game. If you can make the targets hard enough to hit and give customers a set number of, say, snowballs to hit them with... You could even set a hopper item filter to pick up any item frames that get knocked down

Barrels are useful if you looking for a storage container which is also a solid block, but can not be triggered.
You can put Redstone on a barrel, but you can't put it on a chest. I don't have any other usecase
