From your experience, does shine n jam ever give you any flakes or buildup? I’ve used it a lot when my hair was loose but I’m considering using for my retwist as well.

I know you said in another video that you prefer the fresh retwist look so does that mean you only wash when you plan on retwisting? Or do you also wash in between?
No as long as you continue to do that same way. If you keep changing the way you twist your hair it won’t lock. It’s like unraveling your hair if you do that.

Interlocking then I transitioned to palm rolling I didn’t like interlocking.

I only wash when I retwist my hair unless I feel my hair is dirty from like doing an outside activity I’ll wash just my ends.
