They have to call her, mary, to take their prayer through praying on their behalf as she is a virgin Mary that chosen one among all women in the whole world. It's her responsibility to do so, and that's Catholic methodology and intercession. Maria is holy woman in heaven she listened and take her responsibility upon. If there are is only one living God to be served, how couldn't them not worshipping him.
