- We recently got a DJI Mini 2 drone, so I took it to Rhodes Ferry Park and the Old State Bank building in Decatur, Alabama, to test it out. I knew the park and bank plaza would be good places to test my piloting skills and get some epic shots. This was my first time using the drone outside of our yard, so please forgive any jerky movements. It'll get better over time.
Decatur was my home from age 10 to 59. The memories are wonderful and heartbreaking. I never want to go back.
Excellent Drone Video! are you from Decatur and Shooting the video as a hobby? I create Content and I was just looking through Videos because I`m looking for a a short clip from an angle that would from the other side of the bridge like you are leaving Decatur and the water would be on the right about 200 yards past the bridge and maybe 100 ft in the water on the right , The drone shot would be between 50 to 300 feet looking back at the the bridges? So it would basically be a Skyline shot of Decatur " But when I picture it I can`t see the defining outline...." Smh Love The drone Work, I subscribed for that video alone. I have a few channels so I Appreciate The Quality Video.
@memesofsavagery I grew up in Decatur and my mother still lives there, but we live in Auburn. The next time I'm up there (maybe Christmas?), I'll try to go back to the river and envision that shot. 😁 Any yeah, it's just a hobby. But thanks for the compliment!
