♥~6 de Agosto ~Día del Ing.Agrónomo~♥

Cada 6 de Agosto se celebra el DIA DEL INGENIERO AGRONOMO quiero hacerle un reconocimiento a los profesionales que desarrollan técnicas capaces de incrementar el rendimiento y mejorar la calidad de los cultivos, la eficiencia y la rentabilidad de la producción, y que son ejecutores e intérpretes de este conjunto de ciencias útiles para el desarrollo agropecuario sustentable.
Algo de historia...
El 6 de agosto de 1883 cuando en la provincia de Buenos Aires se iniciaron los cursos en el Instituto Agronómico Veterinario de Santa Catalina. Fue el primer Instituto de estudios superiores de veterinaria en el país. El mismo, se trasladó en 1890 a la ciudad de La Plata pero ya funcionando como Facultad de Agronomía y Veterinaria. Por tal motivo, el 6 de agosto ha quedado instituido como el día del Ingeniero Agrónomo.
El gran desafío que deben enfrentar los ingenieros agrónomos mirando al futuro, es la potencialidad de ser un motor de cambio para el desarrollo agrícola sustentable.
Ellos tienen la llave para abrir la "tranquera de la finca global". Una gran finca universal, constituida por infinitas "pequeñas fincas" donde no se agreda al ambiente y evite seguir lesionando el suelo y agotando los recursos

Some history ...
On August 6, 1883 when the province of Buenos Aires began courses at the Agronomic Institute Veterinario de Santa Catalina. It was the first institute of higher education, veterinary in the country. It was moved in 1890 to the city of La Plata but already working as Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary. Therefore, the August 6 has been established as the Day of Agricultural Engineering.
The great challenge facing agronomists looking forward, is the potential to be an engine of change for sustainable agricultural development.
