I just have one question, because I have taken heavy antibiotics as per prescription, but almost 2 courses per year. As my health is quite weak, I get infected easily. I am exercising daily and eat junk food once a month. I was experimenting with intermittent fasting 16:8 cycle and under guidance of nutritionist. And I observed massive changes in my health over 4 months later. Now I am relieved of my low immunity and no need to be hospitalised.
I have the doubt that, does intermittent fasting reduce the anti microbial resistance acquired over the years. As I think I am at risk of having it. Because most doctors in Indian doctors never prescribe probiotics after the recovery. So tissue does repair, but gut bacteria is still not repairing easily.
I asked my nutritionist and she had no answer. Nor do my doctor.

Oiling depends on person to person. Along with the environment you're in. If you live in VERY humid and warm environment, chances are that it'll cause sweating in scalp and cause infections and if you live in a very dry and cold place, dandruff chances will increase because oil is sticky and it attracts dirt. Yes it is good but not good for everyone. My mom always oiled my hair and I started getting severe dandruff and fungal infections on my scalp and it bleeded too so it was painful as well. I didn't even leave the oil for long not even half day but still I had problems and didn't think oil was causing it because I'm Indian and have seen it eversince birth. I switched oil types and all but nothing worked so I went to a dermatologist and he's very famous one so he told me that because I have extremely oily scalp, I shouldn't put oil on my head and that worked wonders on my hair and its crazy. I wash my hair only once a week and ot get oily by the end of the week naturally so no, oil doesn't suit everyone but then it's not bad too

It actually depends on your skip type. Korean people have a very different skin type compared to Indians and some times some ingredients in the product have a reaction on skin. That's why you should always do patch test no matter how famous or non popular the product is. This happened with me as well the product I used made me break out but it was working very nicely on other people.

Hey let me clear things out. Most of the ingredients recommended by skincare influencers are not drugs and neither do they possess the capability to make bacteria resistant. Antibiotics on the other hand have a different mechanism of action and hence microbes are able to develop resistance. Clindamycin won't help u in the long run but tretinoin would when it comes to acne. There is a lot of nuance when it comes to science, so kindly get your facts checked🥰

    • @sanskritibarman4928
      @sanskritibarman4928 Рік тому +2

@@tabinatariq9131 no percentage of tretinoin is pregnancy safe tho that's what I meant. And no, percentage doesn't always reveal the strength. It also depends on the derivative of Vitamin A. I happened to mention science is much more nuanced so you're just helping me back up my point by saying percentage also matters for the particular derivative ( which I'm aware of). So uk try not to sound smart here. No percentage of tretinoin is going to make bacteria resistant to it, is what I'm trying to say in case it didn't get into your thick head.

so glad someone is talking about it with facts and explaination. I have faced all this. I got acne around 6 years ago and looking at these skin products I begin spending thousands on these just to cure my acne. it would solve it for a while and then again I would get acne all over. it was depressing. everyone used to point it out to me (u have such beautiful features but not skin) it made me more and more self concious. I began to consult dermatologists and even tried facials ( hydra) and nothing worked spending thousand and thousands. last year my derma put me on accutane which showed to be very effectful for a year but recently I got acne again three month ago. this time I decided to find the reason I went to gynae and i was diagnosed with endometriosis. all this time I was treating symptoms and not disease. stop fooling around these skin products and dermatologists. take care of ur health and if u still have acne or such problems. go to a relevant doctor(not just any doctor). all these products are not worth buying

And I also agree about skincare routine one .... everyone doesn't need HA , VIT C , Niacinamide etc everyday .. they are made for to treat specific skin problems... if you don't have that problems then cleansing, moisturizer and sunscreen is more than enough...and if you want then retinol that's it ...

I lost my luscious hair due to covid. Had to do multiple things to grow them back plus coconut oil doesn't suit me. But then I started to apply almond oil weekly and it did wonders. My frizzy hair are smooth for the first time. Our parents wouldn't want to knowingly harm us. They put oil and had great hair that's why they know.
Even after passing his fifties my dad has the best hair and he still applies oil. It might not suit you but works for majority.

Oiling is good for hair, it makes the hair cuticles moisturized but yes leaving for longer time will accumulate dirt so it becomes necessary to do oiling and wash it in time. And hair fall is a human body system, each and every hair has its cycle, from the day a single hair grows,it lasts for around 120 days and then it'll fall as its the system of our body. And no facial can dramatically change the appearance in a single attempt, it takes a long time to achieve a new epidermis layer as the dead skin layer has to be removed and the new epidermis layer has to form on top and yes it takes time, it's a human body, everything works in a system and we should give the time to heal everything as much naturally as possible.

I remember we were doing Microbiology practical in Lab and my professor had shameful my classmate for her big nails.
She said I can make millions on bacteria grow from dirt of your nail in the petriplate (nutritive medium for growing bacteria/ microorganisms).
People don't understand that it's not necessary for your nails to look dirty for them to carry bacteria. Our nails and hairs are place where millions of microorganisms reside anytime. This is reason when we enter lab we wash our hands first with soap then with ethyl alcohol, still infections are seen in labs. ( Labs are sterilized with UV rays.)

I m 25 yr, girl... I want to share my worst experiences of parlour...
I went beautyparlor only 3 times, till know, For hair cut..
When I was small kid my mom cut my hair, and now I do..
When my age was 7 to 16..I had beautiful long hair, lower than my waist...
At that time I went to parlor, for long layers cut...
Suddenly that lady just chop my hair to shoulder... And took all hair.. After that I realized that she wanted to sell them..
    That's why she chopped..
She started argue with me, that you said short layers cut..
Last year I went parlour for hair cut, then hairdresser blow dry my hair, with extreme heat... After that I went through severe hair fall for 1 year..
So at the end, I realized that this is bussiness... Your hair is precious, just save them, don't be part of these fake illusions for beauty 🙃🤞

I had severe hair problems so i went to an expert and she told me two things 1. Oil your once every week 2. Don’t keep the oil overnight or for more than 6 hours.
I asked why, and she explained me the concept of natural body oils that exist in our scalp and body and how if overdue the use of oils and moisturizer my skin will be dry and so will be my scalp because oils will block my pores and eventually my body will stop producing them on their own.. it’s been four years and I followed her advice and since then I have no complaints.. neithe I have any dandruff nor oily scalp.. same goes for my skin..

Hi spill bee.I am your regular viewer.my wife got sepsis 4 years ago during her pre c section period due to water break.her gynecologist prescribed antibiotics for that reason.her hair and skin was very healthy at that time.even she had a healthy weight.but after that incident, due to that infection, which was deadly for her,she loose a lot of hair and has skin problems from then.skin problems nowadays is not so severe but her hair became thinner.she doesnot use oil because of underlying skin problem.instead of that she uses serum.my point is that everyone has different skin and hair types.if oil/serum/some sort of cream/treatment works for someone it doesnt mean that it will work for me too.listen to your skin, overall health and then apply something.promoting/blaming something/someone is not a good option though.
