In my opinion, that was a good knowledgable breakdown regarding the getback thing. I have been thinking that way for a while when rappers state those types of things in their rhymes.
I think the issue, coming from the perspective of a writer myself, is that surprisingly people are looking at this beef and expecting heavy bars because 26ar has always been a little more clever a writer than quite a few drill/trap rappers. Trap/drill rappers, especially today, aren't known for bars. For example, even 26 isn't a great writer to the extent of those like drake, ken, Cole or even other lesser names in the game. No one should really expect anything except bars that are trying to relay a message and have a impact via that message, not from the creativity. I personally feel Kyle is winning this beef because he actually has some dirt fo apply, if I was a trap rapper in a beef I'd talk about how they got shot every song too. It's the nature of the game. This isn't drake vs Kendrick where we're expecting a battle of intellectual pens, this is a street level beef where we're essentially trying to see who's got the hardest diss, who's talking the most shyt that's actually true. It's a street beef, not a beef between two poets on the rap game. Look at the beef from the perspective it should probably be looked at bmg, it's a rap beef between two street dudes. Don't expect anything too spectacular from the writing, just expect bars that get their power from the veracity, swagger and viciousness; they do not get their attention through complexity or wit. That's not to say you can't be a highly skilled trap rapper, on the contrary, someone like that could take over the game right now. Maybe that's why drake tries so hard to be hood these days lol, but yea, I say what I say because, as you know, this is the way trap rap is.

They don’t realize if they were better shooters, and innocent people weren’t getting hit accidentally all the time. They would probably let them rock for the most part. But they all be on some dumb ishh, wild unorganized, that’s what gets them killed and locked up.
