That was a cool video, I respect any kind of machining I see from others but the title didn't really fit I think? I was expecting some dynamic roughing so the first retract threw me off. Was that just a regular canned cycle? If your familiar with Mastercam have you tried dynamic roughing? The way it was ran obviously worked great and I'm not saying it's wrong, but I just started using them not long ago and they have alot more benefits then just cycle time I've found. Great video though

The toolpath is a dynamic but the cutting method is only to the one way not so-called ZigZak method as usual because the part is supported by two spindles. Our UA-cam channel includes several dynamic turning videos with ZigZag method also.
