Hi! For any kind of pop up mechanism I like to use at least 100 lb cardstock because it is super sturdy. I am addicted to stardream metallic paper which is 105 lbs cover cardstock. 😊 I hope this helps! Take care and let me know if you have more questions.

@josephinediaz4377 ... no worries! In my video I was using stardream metallic paper. However, you can use whatever paper you want as long as the weight is right. Another side note ... 100lbs cardstock is about 270 gsm. 😊
