Let’s all hope that that is a sign of a second season. One of the most underrated anime out there and Ik this term got quit overused these days but trust me, this anime is it.

honestly it's not underrated at all, it's rated reaaaally highly on MAL and it used to be talked about so much, I'd say it's more that since it's getting nearly a decade old now newer people aren't touching it compared to seasonal anime

Not really, as I find the following Happy Hungry Bunch / Fire Tribe Rebellion Arc to be the worst in the series, relatively speaking. Still, a new season would also cover good stuff after that, hopefully getting all the way to the excellent Nadai Arc.

this is the kinda story that is just timeless like, whether people first got into it when it came out, or a few years later, or this year, it will still be impressive, exciting and will make anyone who gets to know it fall for it. a second season would allow so many more people to actually see more of the story and understand why fans insist on it being an underrated gem, i can just continue hoping we get a s2 announcement soon
