THANKS FOR WATCHING! Stay tuned road trip ahead for something special!
IG / TikTok - Preston_brown01 for the inside scoop!
That look like entirely too much fun. Obviously some serious work on that motor. That's a great hobby. Looks expensive but fun.
Awesome video. I absolutely love the hydrostream vectors. I miss mine. My last boat was a YT haul super fun boat super easy to drive. I hope to someday run into you on the river. This video was in my neck of the woods I live in Palatka. I spend a lot of time at the renegades. Hope to meet you someday and get a chance to check out your awesome boat thanks for the videos.

Check out River Dave's Place. The whole Lake Havasu scene.
We grew up with a 16 ft Starbuck Tunnel Hull with 250 Evinrude and a 13” stainless steel prop. Those were the times.
No boat trip is complete without a Publix run 🌯
It was a blast. I enjoyed getting to meet you guys at salt springs and the restaurant
lol I was up there at salt springs when yall was out there. I had my 19’ triton bass boat has the 150 xr6
Another banger brown compound video
I like how you do all your own work on the boat and it turns out great! You give me hope for young people. Cool that you hang with your Dad also. Have a great summer.
Appreciate the love, same too you!
Those engines sound so amazing. So who's got the faster boat... You or Pops?
In that case pops forsure haha
You need a Cartman Decal to give Red Rocket some Cred😅
Can see the flat sides on the hexagonal Sun Simulator with that camera 😮
Fucking love this boat man! Could listen to it idle all day long!

The his makes me itch to get my viper done😫
What is the dark blue boat? What hull? Thanks. This gets me excited to get a fast boat. Absolutely love the sound of a 2.5
Hydrostream Valero I had one was my first race boat
@@thebrowncompound interesting, it looks like it sits really flat compared to other hydrostreams…
@@thebrowncompound just watched that part again. Ya I see it now. It looks good! Enjoy your show. Keep em coming. :)
Hell yeah let her eat
I can't believe you run pump gas in a HP 2 stroke. Avgas will lite em up! Surely you use octane boost!
93 pump fine she’s got plenty of power I only need about half throttle an I’m at 80 lol
Trim it out big dawg.
Like always

86 looks like 100
why a chopper prop and not a cleaver. Hydrostreams like transom lift not bow lift. I had a chopper on mine and it ran 86 mph at 6200 rpm, I put a 31 inch cleaver on it and it ran 94 mph at 6500 rpm and was a whole lot more stable. Vikings are better than Vectors because theyre faster and more stable at speed. Howard Pipkorn used the Vector to make the Viking by adding 8 inches behind the windshield and removing 2 of the strakes in the rear giving it increased speed. It was the fastest boats out there until the Al Stoker came out with the SST (Stoker Sport Tunnel) in 1980 which was an air suspension hull design. The Vector was 1st produced in 1975 when the 150 tower of power was the biggest outboard available. To make the Vector handle at speed you need to cut the hook out of the bottom and make it flat. A job that may or may not work depending on who does it and how much hook is removed. I have a whole lot of experience with Hydrostreams, Aquasports, makos, and prolines and Ive ripped the floor out of them all and rebuilt them. Have fun, you wont forget it ever.
She is dialed in inside and out has plenty of power I don’t need to go over 85 boat runs amazing feels amazing my Mirage is next up she’ll hit over 100
@@thebrowncompound it looks very nice and you did a great job on it. I always used roven woven, cabosil in the resin, and 5200. It makes life a little easier. I have a love for Hydrostreams and its a certain type of person that have these boats.
Se boats are too much
Huh
Too much fun brother. My dad and I built an 8 foot hydroplane from a kit. Wild shit.
Great video! I'm working on something over here... I believe its going to be called the "Blue Demon" I will be ready to join you guys soon! 😉
