Brian! Love the car, i remember waiting for new episodes every Saturday on this series.. some of the episodes were extremely helpful when it came to do some maintenance work on my KPB 07 TL-S ❤
OMG! This is Honda PORNO! Serious, that car is insane! The technicians are insane! The parts are insane! The color is insane! I'm going insane!!!!! Lol 34 years driving only Hondas here in the USA. 34 years ago, they laughed at me for driving Honda hahahaha. Never been stranded! Now I laugh at them. Awesome build series of the Acura TL Type S! Perfect timing to watch this playlist today and take notes for the repairs I'm doing on my friend's TL Type S 😊 Been taking care of the oil leaks replacing worn gaskets...next up is resealing engine oil pan. As a fellow auto tech, keep up the good work and content guys 👍
It’s 2024 and I am coming back not for the bargain, I am just not liking the models being released by Honda/ Acura lately with their small Tturbo’s. I love these cars , beautifully styled cars that have Solid V6 engines that give you plenty to work with. They just aren’t doing things like this anymore. I just spotted one of these in my area in really good shape for sale and even though I just returned to a 2015 Accord 6-6 Coupe , this car which definitely not the easiest to find in good shape is a beauty. Looking forward to watching this video !
I got myself an 07 TL Type-S Jesus man it’s beautiful compared to the regular TL I got an 05 TL too the Type-s without an exhaust still sounds so nice on a cold start
Hey Guys, I live in Sarasota and I always use Stratos on my car including the windshield. It’s made by Llumar and will keep the dash and interior show room. It comes in clear for the windshield so all the junk that the Sun emits doesn’t kill your dash. Also Michelin Michelin Michelin is the best tire out there for Florida. They stay planted on the road and if you want to have a little fun notice I said Little they will keep you and your family safe. Great Videos Thank You 🙏
amsome video! i had an 07 alabaster silver type-s brand new. loved the car. my only piece of advice is i would have put some sort of clear protection on the interior metal trim on each side of the center console. it takes a beating as you can tell from the ones you removed.
my wife and I had a 2004 and after 150ooo miles we got another car and what a regret. Now that I see what you have done to that car, I regret not keep it and rebuilt the car again. enjoy.
Such a beautiful TL and amazing restoration. Is there a link where I can buy genuine honda/acura parts?? I really wish you guys can restore my 2001 Acura Integra LS. 😔
I have a 2014 RDX AWD w/ Tech Package in the Graphite Luster Metallic with only 138k miles. I would love to have the time and money to make mine look as good as this TL does. such a beautiful car, and that silver just pops. I need my headlights cleaned, I have dings from car doors to a golf ball to I can only assume was a huge rock on my hood above the grill, and it needs a full paint correction. when it comes to how much you love a platform there is never too much love that can go into it
Absolutely love your channel and love the projects you all do. Thank you for this video! I hope y’all continue to grow and your channel gets HUGE! Love the content!
That dash cracking like that should be a recall! My buddy Spence had a clean manual type s in white and the same thing happened to his dash! Its a shame they did that to people who spent so much on a car like that!
Is there anything in particular slowing down the red em1 build? Like discontinued parts hard to find or just busy doing other projects? Love all the content, just excited to see the em1 build.
Thanks for asking and following up. Parts availability is one of the reason but just mainly time. We have quite a few projects going on at the same time. As you know, they all take time to put together. Regardless, we will be back on it very very soon. That's a promise.
Amazing attention to detail! That car just had a very expensive day at the spa 🤣 I love my 2004 Acura TL 6 speed manual 231k miles absolutely no problems. Installing type s tail lights tomorrow on mine. How many miles are on this type s? I would not hesitate to pay 20-30k for this car depending on the mileage. Ordered a pin I'll probably hold onto it for the rest of my life.. when it comes time I'm not sure if I want a type s 6 speed manual or a 2013+ accord coupe 6-6

@@kevinftw16 Mine had some front end suspension knocking even after replacing control arms, ball joints, engine mounts, and struts, so it would just drive me crazy every time I drove it. The best looking car ever made in my most humble opinion
@David Gotelli For sure, truly ahead of its time. I knew the moment I first saw it, that it would look modern almost decades later.
Both the 07 TL-S and TSX are the best looking 4 door Acuras to ever be built.
better looking than the newer acuras for sure. this one's just missing the door mouldings.
@@GuerreroDelInfo You mean the body side mouldings? Good thing they're missing because the car looks so much cleaner w/o them
