Man that innocent sounding voice and that glaring look she gives lets you know that something like that has happened to her before. When we find out about Kei's past it becomes clear why she was legitimately grateful to him and later Ayanokoji after their relationship has more time to develop.

I think the creator of HOTD died so it was discontinued.
The creator died and when he was alive he only managed, to create 30 chapters for the manga due to his struggling health.
