This is 7 years ago. I am the guy in the red hat in the front. This brings back so many memories. Thank you for not deleting this video! Ninos from Sweden
Ninos, you dance very well... I like your swag... hahha... There are so many versions of Poco-Poco, and it was danced in many countries. But, Just for you to know, Poco-poco is originated from Maluku (Moluccas), Indonesia... The language used is Manado language, and the singer's name is Yopi Latul, a famous Indonesian singer. Just so you know, because, It looks like your dancing teacher comes from Malaysia, with his Malay attire... :)

Keren bros n sis dansanya..... It makes me proud of being an Indonesian and especially a Manadonese to have westerners learning our fun dance...^^ we always do this dance in weddings and family birthdays... go Indonesia spread your wings to the world... ooh Im also proud that westerners are learning our traditional martial arts pencak silat =)
Taunya ngedumel doang gmna negara kita mau maju ..
i never know this song before until my band have to play this music for occasion.. fun and nice song.. just close your eyes and let your body do the talk. ;)
The writer was inspired by the beauty of Yospan Dance from Papua and Wayase Dance from Ambon. And it makes sense if the movement like a cross because most people in Papua and Ambon are Christians

Yaa, umumnya mereka sangat menikmati.
Man I remember this! I used to live in Celigon and go to the international school there (C.I.S) nd our dance teacher taught us this version of the Poco-Poco, but I don't think this is the traditional version. Still I loved it! This brings back great memories
Thank you for dropping by, let's enjoy it!
@MrGhaib I totally agree with you. There is no use for cultural overprotecting, it is better if Malaysian can share this too, it's better if Malaysian teach this dance worldwide. I am Indonesian from Bandung, a city where a lot of Malaysians go for shopping. Bandung is the only Indonesian city where there are three times a day flight from Kuala Lumpur. Furthermore, only in Bandung Malaysian can use the Ringgit. Isn't it beautifull ?
The dance just popular all over in Malaysia thanks to some unthinking people who never see anything good in what makes people happy...Dance poco poco!!!
