@@bearcookie13 it wasn't so much a criticism as an observation; racing, especially pacers, at the upper levels means full bore from the start. The winner is the survivor, and I do get concerned about the welfare of the horses.
@@comesahorseman I can see your point but standardbred horses are very strong ,a lot hardier than their thoroughbred cousins ( and treated a lot better too)
@@bearcookie13 oh, I grew up with them so I know them well. I've also seen a few break down (repetitive motion tendon & ligament injuries mostly) and I know this affects how I think about them.
The guy driving the two horse gave a tuck to the top two finishers around the first turn then was loaded with horse coming down the stretch. Things that make u gohmmmm..
