For 70 minutes Harriers were by far the better side, but squandered chances let us down. Brown, Thompson, Device, Reynolds all worked hard, I have to say Morgan-Smith was really poor; two clear cut chances that were blazed well over the bar - he really should have been subbed at half time and certainly by the time he was booked. He was a shadow of himself and I can't recall him winning anything in the air. I cannot understand a) why the changes were left so late and b) why Thompson was taken off who always looked dangerous. I would certainly like to see a change in the attack lineup for the game against Chorley if we are to stand any chance of promotion.
Sutton were fortunate to retain 11 players on the pitch, but dubious officiating was to blame here.
We certainly played well enough to have beaten Sutton and I can't agree with Phil Brown's decision making this afternoon.
King of the 🔔 ends
Need a striker and ams needs to be the benchwarmer. He isn’t good enough any more yet brown persists with him like he’s a prime Alan shearer utter madness
Too true, been a good servant but way past his best
Or is it Steve cotterhilll neck and neck really
Ref didn't help?
have a look at my comment at the start of the season. if a striker can not score goals he is not good enough. he is nowhere good enough for this league. there is a good chance it will cost them promotion.
We can't score, after 70 minutes you know whats coming time and again its not good enough
How many games have we had a hat full of chances miss sitters and lost the game 1-0 in the last 15 minutes I can name at least 4 sides Alfreton, Russhall, the F,A cup, and Sutton united Hemming should have had well over 20 plus goals by now with the chances he as had never mind 14 goals if we was to go on. the amount of chances the team has created we would be running away with the league
