Brunson didn't take a lesser deal for Knicks in his first contract. He outplayed that contract. Dallas offered him half of what Knicks did and they were criticized for overpaying.

Literally I would love for Jalen to get that contract extension 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
What I’ve heard is if he signs the extension this year, he’ll be able to sign his next one sooner and probably make more money overall. I don’t expect him to leave money on the table. Why would he?
