the sarcasm is so thick i can chew on it, i was thinking the same thing. now i imagine someone driving around the parking garage for 3 days waiting for someone to get in from their flight.
You could also get yellow cab or another taxi service, but something that DMV workers don’t want you to know, is that you don’t have the certificate of origin, the certificate of origin is the legal ownership of the car, the title is just a DMV scandal.
good, not like thieves care. it's more convenient for them if you park closer than further away. i can pretty much guarantee parking by the elevator will only marginally decrease theft especially in an airport where foot traffic is light(in the long term parking garage).
When I go on vacation for two weeks plus I take my neighbor’s very old but well functioning Camry! He has other cars but uses it as a winter/beater car. I give him some money for helping me out and he uses it to maintain it so it’s a win-win.
1. Pick up & return a rental from the airport. 2019 & before ride share on time. 2023 onwards ride share 30 minutes late or cancels. (my & friends’ experience) 2. If rental not possible, get You bear or Lift from an old time friend or relative’s place. Even a simple limo / car service to the airport.
@captainminecraft631 got an even better idea, drain the battery and the fuel then put a steering wheel lock on it that prevents the steering wheel from being used 😁
People pay a lot of money to park their cars in the airport parking lot if the airport were held accountable for car theft at the airport. They will take security a whole lot more serious.
A.Thieves don’t care if anyone is watching them at all during they’re process B. Thieves don’t care if there is a camera recording them while stealing the car
Or just take the train to the airport. No need to worry about paying some ridiculous price for airport parking when you can pay a less ridiculous price for the train.
All useless tips!! here's a pro tip; open your hood find the relay box and find the relay that says fuel pump or starter and pull it out and take it with you. YOUR car will never start.. your welcome
car theft is hardly the thing they will focus on. in the last decade idiots searching for clout have targeted large gatherings, which is why i don't do them.
Yes, leave your car at home in the garage.
@@49ers_red_and_gold2 Yea because no one can steal it from your house either🤦♀️
This is why i drive an electric Kona, no one wants it. I don't even want it.
😭
lol
😂😂😂😂
I have to google your car
😂
It’s always so easy to park right next to the elevator. Thanks for the great advice!
the sarcasm is so thick i can chew on it, i was thinking the same thing. now i imagine someone driving around the parking garage for 3 days waiting for someone to get in from their flight.
At home is always the answer.
For those of us with family who travel, this isn't possible.
@@blackcherry6877definitely is possible.
@@blackcherry6877 uber? bus? lyft?
@@Hiyuki-mo2nh I said what I said. You don't get to decide what means of transportation ppl take. Just worry about yourself.
@blackcherry6877 its just a suggession. Chill out snowflakes.
Always get Uber or Lyft. So your car won't get stolen.
I got an Uber home after my car was stolen from a Chicago park 😆
Lyft
or take the bus/train
You could also get yellow cab or another taxi service, but something that DMV workers don’t want you to know, is that you don’t have the certificate of origin, the certificate of origin is the legal ownership of the car, the title is just a DMV scandal.
meanwhile airport security dropped probably
Leave it at home in your garage.
Take an Uber.
Every year is the biggest thanksgiving travel date ever. I hear this every year.
Now everyone will park on top of each other near the elevator 😂
good, not like thieves care. it's more convenient for them if you park closer than further away. i can pretty much guarantee parking by the elevator will only marginally decrease theft especially in an airport where foot traffic is light(in the long term parking garage).
I already had my Thanksgiving in October but you knew that
I didn't know you where Canadian

@@denisgauthier9191 Buddy is trying to find out where Canada is in relation to the US. They didn't teach it in school.

Another tip: don’t park at the airport since they charge $50 a day and don’t even protect your car
Good advice, park near a camera so you can see the thieves give you the finger. or just get you an old clunker to drive and park at the airport.
“Leave you car at home” yeah how does that work for people like me who work at the airport and they make us park in the passenger parking garage. Yay
Carpool?!
Put a GPS under the car
how about leave your car at home and take an uber or one of those airport shuttles there and back?
Ultimate Tip buy a older car from the 90s to early 2000s you'll never get even a glance toward your car.
That’s why we’re driving 8 hours to Philly to see family this thanksgiving.
Why does it feel so weird to see someone you're subbed to in a comment section???
Remove the relay to the fuel pump
This or install a hidden kill switch.
Can't even drive and park at the airport anymore SMH
Just get a cheap 5-10k car that nobody wants
"Where to Park Your Car for Thanksgiving" - At Home.
What if someone breaks into your home and steals it
@@personyt55 - Then I called the cops.
Insurance replaced the car. Now we use a steering wheel lock.
Taking a chauffered car is always a must to the airport 🤷
If you going to leave at the airport, put a steering wheel lock on, or Killswitch or better yet take out the battery and put inside a box lock.
Stay home
Just leave your car at home for heaven’s sake.
Do they have a copy of the key fob? Or Hotwire I’m confused damn
I will tell you how, but I wont
Because my comment will be deleted by YT mod

I’ll park it at my house in my garage
I’ll be parked at home where I belong
Sounds like cameras don’t help stop crime since there’s not enough of these crimes being solved!!!
Pull the fuel pump fuse in your car so it can’t start
Thank you, basic stuff.
Or just siphon your fuel out so it can be started at all unless it's refueled 😁
@@josephbennett3482 right. Don't forget to make sure the container is TSA compliant. 👍
@@josephbennett3482 or drain the battery, that’ll take even longer to get started. ;)

You must watch out for towing companies as well, I’m not saying all of them, but they do steal.
Pretty sure that’s illegal. They will only take your car if you have late payments.
I spot my friend gas to drop me off at the airport and pick me up 😎
Tip #1: get an rideshare or taxi to be dropped off or drive a 2004 and older car that has a lot mechanical issues where it’s prone to stall out.
I'm hoping to go to the Macy's parade in 2026 for the 100 year celebration. I have watched it at home for so many years. Stay safe everyone❤

Consider using a steering wheel lock as well! Pretty inexpensive and can possibly deter a thief.
Hiding trackers like Samsung Galaxy Tags and Apple Airtags and settings up movement alerts can be very useful too.
Apple AirTags stink. The new update lets people easily find them.
I would never in my life even consider parking my car at an airport
Take a damn uber or something!
At home is one thing to do at a Thanksgiving Tradition with the family doing so.
Buy a 2012 corolla and if it's stolen it won't matter as much
Dam that crazy
A.Thieves don’t care if anyone is watching them at all during they’re process

So I’m paying like 35 a day for lot parking and yall cannot pay someone like 25 an hour to monitor it ?? Ok thank you
1:36 You can tune a car but you can’t TUNA FISH!!
Drive an old carbureted stick shift. Doubt any garden variety car thief will get that.

Usually between the yellow lines.
Because brand new pickup trucks cost about $100 K
Uber or Lyft never drive to the airport ever

How do they keep doing that because owner has keys

I usually leave my car at home in the garage
There is no parking available near the elevator 🤦🏻♀️
That's why you don't leave your key in the ignition...
Surprising that people do leave keys in the ignition.
Disconnect your car battery before you leave then they can’t steal it.
do not stand in the middle of the sidewalk in NYC
I still have my 22 year old Chevy with almost 300,000 miles ( yes I have a much newer car as well) guess which car I’ll park at the airport 😂
I Am really EARLY to A Inside Edition video 😳 16 min
What does goku have to do with thanksgiving?
I didn't expect Goku.
Well currently my car is out in the parking lot, at home it's parked in the driveway. So nothing new on my part
