imagine loosing like this with the best deck in game right now! what a shame!
It's a counter to gy spam decks, what're you gonna do with Poplar and Ash? They can't even beat Beaver Warrior
😂😂😂
Goes to show how strong going first is.
@@blastmole299 I can’t resist using Banish decks against graveyard spam.
Not only is it satisfying to remove their entire gimmick from play, but to boost my own monsters’ powers to be giant beat sticks acting as way too tempting of a target for my opponent instead of them popping the real threats in the back row is fun.
Snake eyes isn’t as good as you think tho I was using Snake Eyes but now I’m using spright
Seeing Snake Eyes getting humiliated is always a good time.
❤️❤️
tier 1 2024 vs yugi boomer
Slapping a clueless noob with magical cylinder is awesome
xD
Maigc Cylinder is still a fantastic card today. The other day, I lost to a Labrynth player because of it. The match had lasted 19 turns and I managed to completely outlast it and clear their board, but I realized right when I was dealing the final blow that I had forgotten about the Magic Cylinder they had set literally 14 turns ago. It was a respectable loss - I outclassed Labrynth with something that isn't meta, and the loss was my own fault for forgetting.
the slap at the end...
period
The problem with most tier decks these days are they aren’t built to deal with heavy back rows. Btw, he should have summoned SP as soon as possible
I like having a way to nuke backrow. As far as I know, among the meta decks, only SHS has a in engine mass backrow removal (that they likely don't play).
Thats because nowadays backrow are pretty much just "Negate everything and your mom" archetypal counter trap, Starter/extender quickplay/normal spell that your backrow hate does nothing against, and sometimes a field spell.
That's assuming they even pulled the card in the first place.
yOu shOuLD haVe dONe tHiS, gee, maybe they didn't get lucky with the packs.
@@DexLeroySir, You can craft SP for 30 UR points
My point still stands, what if they don't have resources. Not everyone dismantles cards they're not using anymore...
I have a little story, involving one of the key card's in this video:
So my classmate, later friend got interested in the game back in around 2006-2007, so we went to a local store. A guy with the ego of the sun challenged my friend, with his Cyber Dragon deck.
"I'll beat ya in seconds!"
"Let's see it"
The dude summoned Cyber End Dragon with - you guessed it - with Power Bond, and said: "It's already over, lol"
My buddy flipped over a card, freezing everyone in silence.
"Thanks for the duel" he smiled.
The card in question was Magic Cylinder. Never saw that CD guy again.
Magic Cylinder still a Trap card nobody should underestimate.
Never underestimate old school yugioh
🐐 🐐🐐
As fun as this video is, my personal experience is, I play Wicked Worm Beast and Fisure then end my turn. My opponent plays a 20 card combo that automatically destroys all card on my side of the field while also summoning Diamond Dimension Dragon or something. Then I play Celtic Guardian and lose next turn.
The modern TCG is no place for a player from the early 2000's.
Nobody expects the Magic Cylinder
the magic cylinder is like the spanish inquisition 🤣 nobody expects it until it hits you in the face
I see it too often in plat so I do expect it.
A guy at my locals tried to beat me with Eldlich but got hit by 2 battle faders lol (I bricked hard)
Odion approves of this strategy.
He’s definitely drinking the wrong water lol 😂
lmao
The dude also has the magic cylinder as his profile border, he should have expected it!
bruh
I love the good old days when everyone used to troll Kashtira
ah! i remember
I encountered a similar opponent like that a few months ago but I had a unique response. The aromages revolve around gaining LP and one of those cards it’s Aroma Candle, gain 500 LP at the end phase and can’t be destroyed by battle if flipped. So after I ended my turn and my opponent ended theirs, I flipped the candle, summoned an aromage monster that can return 1 spell/trap card if I gain LP, and slowly gained LP as they kept setting up until they had to discard cards.
Respect!
Seeing snake eyes get bodied is always awesome.
I once beat Snake-Eyes with my Red-Eyes/Flame Swordsman deck
With the new Bakura support coming out, old-school YGO is becoming popular to use. The moment you use Dark Sanctuary and two Chain Energy against Dark Magician decks, it feels satisfying, especially if you use Chaos Hunter.
I summon [insert monster that wipes backrow]. I prefer facing old school burn than stun. Beating old school just requires some deckbuilding choice (to have access to backrow removal) while beating stun requires drawing the out.
Snake eyes lost to It's own profile pic, the humiliation...
😆😆😆
Man didn't even need Marshmallon.
as i think it was like just in case lol
How do you beat the new school? GO OLD SCHOOL!
XD
I play a lot of jank in Plat V so I come across these decks more often than usual, and when I do there are 2 cards that tend to royally screw them: Ra'ten and S:P.
As long as you don't actually attack, Ra'ten can eat backrow every single turn, and despite not seeing any reason to include S:P in most of my other decks and doubting its capabilities even as every Yugituber talked about it like its the most broken card since pre-errata CED or Crush Card Virus, it's saved me from Cylinder on at least *THREE* separate occasions. AKA: 75% of the time Cylinder has been used on me since S:P came out.
Nailing someone with Magic Cylinder is harder and harder but it's all the better when you KO someone
Do you have any advice on making a Banish Deck that can match up to the current play?
I almost won against grave keepers with a single cylinder after they blocked my graveyard
Old cards like those were meant make little cuts, good for they slower games of the past. Now they turn modern combos into blood letting.
If he didn't have cylinder, marshmallon would of finished the duel because he wouldn't have any other way to get the marshmallon off the field without using a card that gets sent to the GY, activating skull invitation. He was cooked either way.
Yugi boomer here… with smiles of joy 🥹
Can you show deck list?
They never expect the almighty magic cylinder
Burn is one of the best viable options ever it’s real hard to deal with
Its all fun and games, until the opponet uses harpies feather duster, or some bs monster card that destroys most of your back row
The set monster also deal eff dmg
Deck list?
Gotta love old cards. Either super broken or just super awful, no compromise😂
he got punished
Snake eye worst nightmare
yyy
What is this deck? Are you willing go give us the deck list? Lol. I haven't played yugioh in over 10 years. I'm trying to back into it in master duel but it's so hard, so much has changed lol.
I don’t have it bro, I make edits not deck profiles ❤️
Pay the toll!
I played this deck too. Combined with 3× Timelord Michion, 3× Timelord Sephion and 3× Timemaid. 90% winrate in MD😂
Seeing Snake Eyes getting humiliated is always a good time.
i hate this deck
Deck list? I would like to combine it with my anti meta deck
This is why you need to read the cards
😂😂😂
Who would win:
typical meta slave with 1000+ ur deck.
yugi boomer with one round tube
I'm on win streak 😊
omg!
I will give it to them they at least tried
😂😂😂🤣
XD
XD
Ohhh that’s nasty
always
☠☠☠
Classic cards rule.
New stuff is anoyingly anoying
I still play Eater of Million to this day because of the ability to skip the battle phase of one monster and pop it.
Heck I still play cards like D D Warrior Lady as well.
dumb snake eye play-eah
firsttttttttttttt
comment loooooosssssseeeeerrrrr.
They ruined this game. Konami is catering to noobs and people without critical thinking. They made it way too easy to summon monsters now, a baby can do it. Turn one player player should not be allowed to special summon more than 5 times on that specific turn. Its just completely unfair to turn two player that still cant even play becsuse he technically hasn't even started the game yet. It makes the game one sided from jump and doesnt allow for both players having a fair start so both players have an equal chance of winning. Dont get mr wrong ive been watching and playing Yu-Gi-Oh since day 1 it came out. But seeing where it is today, its just not right they made this game too easy theres. Konami ended up catering to the noobs and kids after all. I stand on what i say. Turn one player should not be able to special summon more than 5 times on that first turn. They ruined the game a person shouldn't be able to go through jalf their deck on turn one. Man this game went down the toilet
While I do agree that most decks doesnt require much brainpower to use, I dissagree about not having a chance. There is going second specific cards, also kaijus and sphere mode, lava golem too, dark ruler, droplet, all the handtraps :D also also turn 2 player can open insane too just like turn 1 player can brick (ofc some decks just cant brick but whatever)
