Wow this makes me wish I got my name on that gong a couple days sooner :) but better use in your hands, your getting so may great sounds out of that gong. Masterful and inspiring, thanks for sharing. I love my 24” wind, but I can hear so many more possibilities with this larger size.
I was lucky. I showed up at gong camp, started playing a few gongs, hit that one and knew it was "the one." I put my name on it right then. I wasn't looking for a gong, but I had a sound in my head I was looking for and that gong was it. I play it every time I'm in my studio, even if I'm just passing through, I hit it a few times and listen. I think I've come a long way with it in 2 months. There's much to explore. 36" is a good size, very manageable and lots of sound potential. Now I need a 40" Wind…
