i know i shouldn’t be listening. but this song fits so perfectly with everything i’m currently going through, i’m almost astounded i didn’t write it. I had a friend that I had known since elementary school, and our friendship had been on and off because of fighting. Yet again I find them entering my life, but this time they hate me and wont talk to me about it, and I only heard that they were shit talking me by another friend that just happens to be in contact with them. This song deeply resonates because I had always thought me and this friend were spiritually connected, and I'm just very sad right now. I feel like I cant replicate the connection me and this person had, and it feels so wrong to abandon all the effort. I know I should really sever our connection, but I miss them and the comfort they used to bring me.

2:50 always gets me because it reminds me so much of my ex. she had messaged me telling me she lost feelings and didn't feel like the relationship was going anywhere. I was so upset and hurt that I didn't know how to react, so I just blocked her. I regret it so much now, but I'm still so upset and hurt because I loved her so much. Not to go into too much detail but she was the only person who understood me in a different way than anyone has. And it was always so comforting to be around her, and it always makes me wonder if I had done something wrong or something to upset her, and I just wish she had said something about it sooner.
