Casual F1 fan here and I have avoided these games ever since the PS2 days simply because the learning curve was huge, I might pick this up seeing the casual mode is available making the game more accessible.

What Andy did on the #2 driver was called a PIT maneuver(pursuit intervention technique) and it was quite well done, but I think the game assist helped him quite a bit.
This was great! Also to be fair to Andy, shifting without a steering wheel setup in games is very hard. But yeah, I loved this fun little experiment :D

Ok this happened... so I was watching this video in a room with an open window facing onto the street. It's a narrow cul-de-sac so not many cars. At the EXACT moment that Andy hits Albon near the end of the video, there's a massive "HONK!" from a car outside the window. I swear my head almost hit the ceiling.
The idea of the pit managers (or whatever they’re called) saying to each other.... “He must have a magic car” “Yeah, from the imps” ... really sends me.

havent played an F1 game in ages... i remember the last one i played was on an 486 if i remember that correctly and had hotseat mode for multiple drivers,.. thats where i remember the "assist light countdown" from. when the driver changed you would get those lights turning off to let you know when ai control would switch to the player
Not to speak ill of your teaching skills, but I'm not sure a student leaving your lesson by the drastic measure of slamming themselves into the wall at top speeds is a good advertisement for your driving school

Casual F1 fan here and I have avoided these games ever since the PS2 days simply because the learning curve was huge, I might pick this up seeing the casual mode is available making the game more accessible.
