Offensive Coordinator can't put a consistent game plan together. We had a period of being 0-12 on 3rd down going back to last game. We call 2nd and 10 run plays into walls. Then on 4th and 1 when WAS is showing a 3 man front, we do a shotgun pass instead of taking the yard.
Kyler needs to start audibling out of these horrible calls.
Say whatever you want of our injured and gassed defense but if they allowed 14 last and 15 this week we still lose both games.

Kingsbury showed what a real quarterback can do in his offense. Kingsbury came in and wiped his muddy feet on Gannon's carpet. This was a total failure on offense and defense. Not the same old Cards... no they looked much worse.
As a Commanders fan, I had my doubts about Kingsbury when they announced him as our OC, but I have been legitimately amazed with how he has adapted to JD's strengths and how the play calling has improved week after week. I seriously thought it was going to be another shootout for us like last week.

I’ve been the biggest supporter of Kyler but I’m officially out. The offense is stagnant because of his decision making. I know the coach’s are seeing it on tape. He also hasn’t taken any real accountability. A bunch of we need to change we this we that. No “I need to be better, I gotta make better decisions” I’m never this critical of Kyler usually the opposite but this was hard to watch. Unfortunately he’s with us until 2028…
This wasn't on Kyler. He was under pressure all day and his passer rating was over 100 again. This was an OL and playcalling issue IMO.

It isn’t Murray. We’ve seen him at his best and he isn’t just good, he’s great. We’re missing our O-Line and the play calls have been terrible. Murray had very little time to do anything today. We don’t see him get sacked very often but today the pocket kept collapsing on him and our O-Line is to blame for that. Nothing you can do as a QB in those scenarios especially considering he’s smaller than most.
Shut up About o-line! 32 nfl team have o-line problems but they work with what they have.🤦♂️

Gannon got beat by Kingsbury.... That says it all about how our season will go. He hasn't got a clue what to do. We will only win 1 or 2 more games this season. No adjustments, no momentum strategy, no OC&DC leadership, K1 is not understanding what a leader is... We got embarrassed today hands down, Gannon won't change...
This game could have been a win easily, with any other coaching I think they would have won, this play calling absolutely sucked.
Kliff on the other hand killed it with a rookie QB and other players.

@backtoconstitution1 --- I don't know what your expectations of this team were coming into the season, but they seem too high. You should've already known this team would have one of the worst front 7s in the NFL and a shaky offensive line. Those two things make it nearly impossible to win consistently at any level of football. A team who can neither block nor stop the run = TOAST. Football is about much more than skill position.

I was fine with the close loss in the first 2 games to really good teams but there was no excuse for this loss, to get beaten so badly to a team we should have beat is inexcusable. Failure at coaching, the entire D failed, our OL was a disaster and Kyler was bad.
That’s exactly what the Bengals were saying in Cincinnati last week, and the Giants the week before that. Maybe We should stop beating ourselves up and start to respect this Washington football team. They seem to have something special over there
Tough loss today but I'm sure coach Ganon will rally the troops and have the guys ready to play and win next game. Just got a few loose ends to tie up.

IMO the playcalling is one of the biggest reasons for our failures so far. We have by far more yards and points in the first quarter than any other quarter. We start strong on our script but fail after we go off script.
It was a big problem again today:
- Throwing on 4th and goal from the 1 was bad, I don't care that it succeeded.
- We threw again on 4th and 1 later and failed. We have one of the strongest backs in the league, we shouldn't ever throw it on 4th and short.
- A screen on 3rd and long from deep in our territory was a bad call. Normally I understand getting a little more room and flipping field position, but Wash was walking all over us and we needed to try to get the first down there to keep up, even if the odds were long.
Those were just the worst examples. I know it's tough with how bad our OL was today, but the playcalling still needs to improve immediately.
The decision to run the ball on 1st and 10 when we were driving right before halftime killed that drive. The decision to not kick the field goal right before halftime killed the game.

We have an OC who doesn't know how to call a consistent gameplan. This permeates to the rest of the team.
There are very few defenses in the league capable of winning you games when your offense scores 13 and now 14 pts. A defense that wasn't good to begin that had lost 3 dline starters before this game started.
Offense was 0-13 on 3rd down at one point going back to DET game. So now insult to injury you just allow them to get gassed in this game. We run the ball into a wall on 2nd and 10 and line up in shotgun on 4th and 1 twice. 1 is a great low probability catch by Harrison in the endzone. Other is vs a 3 man WAS front for some reason we don't feel comfortable running into and we throw an incomplete pass.
I want to be able to blame our defense when we lose 34-31. This is the worst case scenario.
This year’s NFL has been nothing but upsets week after week, and today we got it handed to us. I still believe this team gone break through.
Drew needs to know Kyler isn’t a pure pocket passer and Drew can’t run away from MHJ OR Connor. Get Kyler in the boot and option, play action. Let him use his legs. We don’t expect Pocket Passer to make 1st down with his legs or ask Michael Vick to throw like Peyton Manning. Drew needs to utilize our offense better. It’s like using Dortch for a jump ball or MHJ to block for Connor. The coordinator needs to be better and Gannon, you gotta let them know or he’s gotta go. Kyler is not Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, he's not gonna be "the goat" but he is still talented, and we have to use Kyler the way he is built to be used.
Pain is for moving, not residing.... The entire organization is responsible. Allow them the space to respond.
Petzing being allowed to call a throw on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 over and over is unacceptable.
