These exercises are so important. I wish that physical therapist from a home health facility are more engaging. These exercises are too. important
Weight shifting, hip flexion , abduction,hamstring press( curl),wall press, chair plank,chair push up,pillow squats, heels raises ( on toes), single leg stand.
Doug could you share some exercises for people who have had knee replacement surgery.,.. thank you.
Weight shift on right leg , then left,hip on each leg,20 rep.on R. 20 on L.Hip flexion, marching, lifting leg as high as possible, 10 rep . R,10 L, Hip abduction re,L,10 rep.each side ,3 set. Hamstring curls, hit your but ,20 each side,3 sets, wall press , push up against the wall, futhur back make it difficult, 10 rep.3 sets,rest 1 minute.chair plank , push up position, core exercises,20 seconds, do not move,1 minute is ultimate, Chair push up,3 sets,10 rep.heel raises ( on toes).pillow squat with cross arms on. Chest .single leg stand ing.

These are so difficult but if you start somewhere they are attainable. I do a few of these with my PT’s and will add all of these in time
I did what you asked can I get some info? I had a stroke 15 years ago now I find I am safer walking sideways over forward . What would help that balance problem? Thanks Marianne
Is there something else that can substitute for an armchair? I have a couch which won’t work and a matching chair but the arms are wide.
