Unlike the moron saying to just bash spam. I would recommend being more patient. Not so patient as to where you're being a turtle the whole game. A lot of people expect a bash spammer. So try learning free grabs when people dodge. And when facing light spammers, try going for the light parries. Or light spam yourself. Remember black prior gets a free riposte when he blocks successfully right after
@@krisbojin8669 might not have a team but doesn't mean he can't find one lol. I've seen him play in a 4 stack before. And the tourney is in 4's mode. Eu just need to hope he doesn't get a team lol

Option select is an input that counters two or more options. The most common option select is a zone attack because if you input it during the parry timing, you get a parry if the opponent doesn’t feint. If they do, the zone attack goes through. These can be baited by feinting and waiting for a parry or throwing another fast attack. Other option selects include crushing counter lights (counters attacks and feint to gb.); side heavy dodge attacks, forward heavy dodge attacks and even light attacks (counters feint to gb and feint to another light); etc.
You can use zone attack input to parry since it has heavy attack input in it. Option select is when you are using zone both as a parry attempt and to cover options the enemy can use instead of heavy. Conqs zone can be used to parry, and enemy GBs will bounce off, and fullblock will protect you from lights; PKs zone is fast enough to interrupt any other enemy action, etc.
@@orrusfellin5150 PK doesn't have a fast zone anymore, it's just a regular speed zone that counts as a light. I also want to add dodge attack option selects too like Shamans.
