Well the show opened only yesterday and she's 11 or 12. So maybe they cast her and had her along the ride so the could work out the kinks with a young actor

The Broadway show just opened, the show was open at the Atlanta Lyric Theater last year. I'm just wondering if they transferred the whole original cast from Atlanta to Broadway, or if they had auditions again and Sarah got the part twice.
