- The backbone of Republic Lagun Machine Tool is the notable vertical knee mill model Lagun FTV2F. This mill features induction hardened and ground ways. This process is more consistent and precise than flame hardening and does not score or wear off like chrome. Our Lagun Mill features square ways for rigidity and dovetail ways for accuracy on the knee. No other machine has this feature. The vertical knee mill also consists of an extra wide saddle (23”) with Turcite to ensure smooth, non-stick and precise travel for the cross and table movement. A constant 5 HP motorized head with high velocity cooling system keeps the head at a constant temperature. In other words, Lagun’s Vertical Knee Mill, FTV-2F features surpasses its competition in capacity.

I ran a new lagun back in the early 90's , a very strong machine. Also very accurate. I did a series of accuracy tests with it and a brand new bridgeport mill. Parts were checked on a CMM. The lagun out performed it every time in accuracy ,

If ur governor keeps going with black outs where do you get a disel one
The 110 voltage that the operator touches will not prevent accidents but in fact will kill you faster than 220v or 480v because of amperage. Lagun should consider low voltage operator controls like 24v energizing high voltage motor relays to be OSHA compliant!

did low voltage controls. 😎
