@@Lucas-tf4dy I wouldn't really recommend people try to do this build before they have both Magnus items and a .2 rhythm honestly, it doesn't feel great before that. Thunderspike is a much better option, or dex based rapid advance split shot can be okay but still way less damage than tspike
@@Monkkae with a . 3 rhythm you're probably better off going rapid advance and putting the rhythm on thunderspike, taking elementalist for channel stacks instead of warlock, and getting attack speed
yeah c2 had a shotgun coefficient nerf and ice lance now factors in shotgun coefficient, its a pretty significant nerf but still viable. Main nerf was for the spell burst version that used path of flames, since path of flames is no longer a mobility skill it can't proc ammo reload anymore
Hi, thx for posting this :) I have few questions, does the Numbed effect buff from "thunder spike: tremple" applies to split shot dmg? Also have you tried volley support for split shot, could be more single target damage maybe ?
Yeah the numbed effect does buff numb effect globally for other skills to benefit, and I've tried volley but it causes some issues with numb uptime because of e2's 75-2 trait that reduces numb duration per hit since it does a lot of hits. It ends up being a lot less damage than diversion as a result, so maybe it would be better on another character altogether like gemma3, not really sure. One alternative for single target is using focused shot, then probably swapping aim for the old focused shot setup and thunder imbue with added erosion/phys for ailments. That gives a bit more single target but is only really useful on bosses so I didn't bother

@@Soulfeeder20 I wouldnt recommend it now that compasses are more expensive and the chest is way cheaper, i wasnt really getting much from it other than the chest drops and other strats would have been better. That said if you want to try it, i was running sinful plunder, flourishing might, and conquering novel compasses in profound mostly. tree was most of the might tree except for the automaton and ember stuff, and didnt need to take the chance to spawn since the compass did that
Edit: I tried swapping everything over to rapid advance to try it, and its pretty similar damage. Only caveat is you need a high (0.2-0.3) rhythm on the thunderspike setup to maintain numb stacks since rapid advance will do more hits per second. If you want to try and push the build past 7.5t then rapid advance is probably a better option. And for that matter dex stacking is probably a better option altogether since dex scales attack speed with the talent/slate @@disbled yeah I'm still considering doing the channeling version, it would be less damage until I get 5 max channel stacks and over 100% attack speed but may be a good solution for hitting over 7.5t (rhythm versions hard cap without running 2 split shot setups). I was making your carino 2 from last season and it looks as if the dps was gutted quite a bit, was anything in particular nerf?

why affliction effect? what in the build scales with affliction? :) 'noob here
true flame, one of the main talents in warlock, makes 60% of affliction get applied to fire hit damage

Playing Split Shot without the spin2win is a felony...
