Oh gosh, your son is a budding youtube star xxxx💕
I love how your kids take enjoyment from the garden and growing, I could never get my daughter interested, will be encouraging my grandsons when they are old enough, we took on a plot a few weeks ago getting ready to plant our onions and garlic at the weekend weather permitting. Great video 👏
Wanted to mention loads of home educators in the U.K. and all over the world. Look for your local home ed group. Remember home ed does not have to be school at home.
Loads of good info on youtube too. Lots of free resources available and now plenty of online classes/even schools if that's what you want.
Masha Allah your garden still going strong, we’re all done here, still a few uri left here and there
Sweet family!
Thanks for the tip about Tjunction on the squash!
Nice to see the kids getting involved and loving it! Can I borrow them to work in my garden 🪴 ❤
Such a cute family bond love how ur son put the cob in your back pocket 😂
He stuck a leaf in my pocket so i was walking around with a tail
Nice pumpkins. I enjoy growing them but my wife doesn't like the vines. I've been crossing pumpkins with zucchini for short vines
Have you tried some of the smaller varieties or some of the climbing varieties?
@@MyFamilyGarden most definitely, they are part of my breeding stock
It's been a funny year for squash plants, they seemed to hold off from flowering for ages, glad you got a good harvest, you will be eating gourds/squash all winter 😂 Take care 😊
Help I've just seen a rat iny compost bin. Am sitting in kitchen in shock. What do I do.
they go well with fried rice, first, you have to baste them overnight, butter will do a bit of salt and pepper, then in the oven on a low heat (120c)for approximately 2 hours lovely ;) goes well with a white chardonnay
Stop putting kitchen scarps like bone and meat inside it.
@derek-press. 😂😂
@@abseidukdon't put any cooked food in at all. Veg scraps, leaves and old papers and card only 😢
Waalaikumussalam akhi
subhanallah 😊
Great harvest
Ma sha Allah
Really nice garden! And helpers too.
Nice harvest!!
This season has been a bit hit and miss. Very productive tomato and pepper harvest. Courgettes never took, convolvulus was taking over (I get my vengeance by using it as gardening twine) . First time ever growing French beans and they were amazing, enough in the freezer for the year. Basil and rosemary has been incredible, too much of both, thyme should be ready next year along with the ginger (thanks to you).
Peace be with you all. That sweetcorn prank shows how much you are loved. 🤣
tomato and Pepper is definitely the best year we've had in a long time there are still lots of them outside slowly going red, pumpkins not bad ,I still haven't dug the potatoes up yet ,there's still a lot to harvest but here in Germany it's (so they say) going to get over 20 C again,we are at 14 to 17 afternoons at the moment and nights 10-12
@@derek-press had an attack of the slugs with the potatoes. Did my best to defend them but I had to bring them up in the end but I put a few more out at the start of August so hoping for a few ready for winter, fingers crossed.
Keep your garden green and your soul full.
@@MElaughs sorry to hear that, yes fingers crossed for a few late spuds
Fair play sir,, you're feeding a family from your garden, not many can say that!
Barakallahu
that is an excellent harvest and more to come brilliant!, my wife made Pumpkin soup today with one we harvested last week, made with coconut milk and curry served with a nice sprinkle of black pepper and a fresh baguette, wonderful!
that sounds delish
@@MyFamilyGarden fantastic and very healthy! which I'm sure you know already and you can freeze it !
It’s lovely to see you all out in the Harvey together… looks like you got some food to keep you going…
I would like to try next year a squash/pumpkin that’s on the small side of fruit.
I want to grow it so I have food for my composting worms- sounds silly but atm I have to buy food to make sure I have enough. So would be good to have a couple of plants I can grow to get 10 fruits say that will last a year and then I will save about £20 plus .
If you know what’s reliable, as I did grow 3 pumpkin plants and got 2 small pumpkins lol.
Try a fig leaf gourd they plants grow pretty big but they're very productive, you can trim the vine and chop that down to feed to the worms
@@MyFamilyGarden thanks I’ll go look for seeds now
@@MyFamilyGarden got some on eBay.
