You’re making my head hurt! I just told my husband a couple of hours ago that this is my last order of yarn for a long time…now I’m going have to pay someone else to order it and sneak it in the house. 😂😂😂
@tommiethigpen66 You literally made me laugh out loud! I just ordered some of this yarn right after promising I was done buying for awhile. So I hope I can sneak in the packages when UPS comes and that my husband will never be the wiser, lol. 😂
Thank you for sharing this lovely scarf. I wasn't going to buy any new yarn, but this Bitty Stripes is just too cute. You have successfully enabled me. ☺
Love everything about this tutorial, of course, but the ever so subtle comedy does not escape me! “I think they’re just trying to start trouble” had me cracking up! I never fail to recommend you first when telling some newbie to watch Crochet videos! ❤😂
On a computer it is hard for me to see but I watch you on UA-cam on my big TV and then I know exactly what you are doing. Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials.
Mikey, I don't think anyone was trying to be a smart a$$, I remember the first time I did a front post and back post combination. I had trouble looking at the stitches and trying to see what I was looking at, partly because if I turned the work around, things looked backwards. Many years later, and using these stitches for many ribbings, I can easily see what I'm looking at. It wasn't always this way. Thank you for this tutorial, I just happen to have a skein of Bitty Stripes looking for a project!
I'm gonna have to try this. It reminded me of a question I have though. I made an Afghan a while back and I'm wondering if the pattern has a name. Row 1-DC Row 2- FPHDC, Row 3- FPDC. Then repeat rows 2 and 3. The FPDC looks like a continuous DC rows and the opposite side is ribbed. It's very VERY thick and HEAVY.
I believe that the angled pattern would be easier to see if a plain color of yarn were used. I agree that it is hard to see the pattern of bpdc and fpdc on the video. Nevertheless a great video as always.
Guess I'd have told them to zoom in their view if they were having a hard time telling the difference between the front and back post crochet stitches. Unfortunately I think a lot of people don't know that they can zoom in to see what you're doing more closely. It's especially helpful if you're watching on a cell phone with its tiny screen.
I know for me, it takes a few rows to remember which ones are front or back post DC. For me, I think the term should be the other way around for the two stitches, but that is just me. I have used the stitches quite a few times and still get confused. If i put a project down for more than a couple of days with these stitches, I have to retrain my brain on them 😂😂😂. They aren't difficult once I get going and I zip right along, I can't explain it. I always watch uaing a phone and juat rotate my phone sideways to get a better view 😊
@@ClaireH1418 OK, my son is in California I'll send him money and ask him to check over there. His wife is off on Fridays, so maybe she can check for me. Thank you!

If someone can’t tell the difference between a bpd and a fpd they clearly are not doing them correctly!
The hook size is wrong. Lol it's an I hook, but you need to chain with a J. 🤷♀️ In the beginning bottom of video.
@@emilypiersimoni I did this as a separate video. Suggesting hook size. Just match the type of yarn you have to the ball band recommendation.
If they can't tell the difference between the FPDC and BPDC... they CAN'T MAKE THIS SCARF.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
