Skyhill - Hardcore Completion

Very interesting indie survival rogue like. As it is advertised, you just "point and survive". That means it's only played with one button, you don't directly control your character, you just point him where to go and what to loot.
The battle system is extremely simple. You and your opponent take turns hiting each other. You can target different body parts for greater damage with different hit success. That means there is a chance of greater damage at the cost of a lower chance to hit. And here comes the highlight of the game - RNG. The whole game is build around that. And it is so severe, that many times the game will screw you so badly you just won't be able to complete it, simple as that. You really need a very solid strategy and luck in order to complete it on the harder difficulties.
This here is the final difficulty - Hardcore, and it's absolutely brutal. Enemies have more health, they hit harder, and there are more of them.
At the start you can pick one passive and one active perk, however, each one has such a severe drowback, it is almost pointless to do it. I picked the perk that gives me more loot, but every 10 rooms one random item disappears, including your weapons. The active perk gives me a free kill, but the recharge rate is whooping 150 rooms! That means you can only use it three times tops during the run. Still, better than every other one, though.
Unfortunately, the game is a little buggy, and it kicked me out instead of showing the ending. You are not missing much, it's just a very short cutscene in the form of a comic.
All in all, Skyhill is a very interesting game that requires your attention, especially if you are into survival games. But we are talking real survival, making heavy choices, having very strict plan what to do, the game doesn't screw around. If you are into such experiences, definitely check it out!

I know this was posted 2 years ago, but you get a lot of loot. I'm playing hard mode and don't even get a third of what you get.

I am using a perk that gives you a lot of loot, but every given time you lose a random item, including your weapons.
