- This Upgrade Might Be Even Better Now... Bloons TD Battles 2 - in an episode of more Jericho gaming, we use some mildly interesting strategies involving the engineer to eat up money versus other Jericho users! Bloon adjustment creates more money for your traps and here's some strategies that work decently well paired with it...

Bloon Trap is an excellent counter to Jericho because now you can Syphon off the extra cash gained from the stronger Bloons
I still think it was a mistake to add the cobra to battles 2, even if just as a hero.

8:50 Jerichio costing 5000 monkey money probably puts many off from jumping back into the game including myself, as you can not play with the new content if you are a returning player with not much money.

Most of the main reason people wont be coming back is because of the xp system, even if it isnt as bad as before, it is a really dreading to see the grind
Well XP isn't used to get tower upgrades anymore afaik, it's all Monkey Money. That would be what the grind is for.

But what's really turning me off is the grind for money and experience.
If they handed out more and just gave you some when you do Casual Play, it wouldn't be a problem.
But instead, it's a slog to unlock ANYTHING in the game for me.
Yeah, sometimes its hard to balance progression with actual fun, but there isnt an excuse for this

going back and watching old isab videos from back when btd6 was in beta/had just released and then watching this made me feel like I was seeing a video in 4k at a visible framerate of at least 800
I do enjoy these videos. Even though I have never played btd games haha

In all honesty, after the update when they replaced the requirements to unlock towers from XP to MM, i also thought the grind would be even worse for newer players, because MM is arguably harder to get than XP (only obtainable from Ranked Matches and Events, instead of including Casual Matches)...
That is, until i realized that if you log your account in a mobile device (or BlueStacks), you can straight up make grind an absolute joke by *watching ads* (yes, it's scummy but it's worth it in the long run, I SWEAR...) to gain :
- Daily Freebie Chest openings, every 4 hours, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Rewards: 100 MM, 500 random tower XP, 200 random hero XP, and 500 Universal XP each chest
- 2 additional Daily Rewards per day. Non-jackpot rewards can provide 25 MM, and 50 MM. Jackpot rewards provide LOTS of random tower and hero XP, or up to 250 MM.
tl:dr : if you're on mobile you can grind every stuff you need by pretty much NOT playing the game at all LMAO.
If *ONLY* more people knew about this (no VIP required, btw), the reoccurring grinding issue would not be a thing *EVER*

try this strategy. tack, ninja, sniper/boat. where you go blade shooter start, then sticky bombs with boat or sniper for support

how do you beat UCRYP, DJGVB, QLKRCP 2 by MBM it has 1 percent win rate
Challenge: BTD6 but you must buy the upgrade you want instantly. In other words, you can only upgrade a tower the instant you drop it, once you deselect it, you cannot upgrade it anymore. (I Posted this on a video you did a while ago and it got about 4000 likes, i think it would be interesting)
I just wanted to ask y'all a question. What can I do to keep grinding without getting bored? I really want to get highwayman Jericho.

Why would you want to grind in a game that bores you? Highwayman will not make the game any less boring.
The game just did way too little way too slowly, i even bought like several months of VIP trusting NK to do well, and guess what, shortly after the several months long bugged dartling meta started so during those couple of months o maybe played 2 or 3 times total. Maybe if i could pay like 5 dollars to unlock all upgrades instead if wasting my time grinding them I'd occasionally plau this. But as it is, the game isn't fun enough for me for how much time sunk it demands from you.
And all that without mentioning how extremely new player unfriendly this game is. So you get what you get, a doa game that only a few dedicated players play

What is tower xp used for? All my towers instantly got to tier 4
Once you unlock tier 5 of the towers, you can buy cosmetics with tower xp. Note that these cosmetics can cost in tens of thousands tower xp.
BTD6 challenge : CHIMPS mode but the max amount of pops on all towers must be only 11.5 x the total cost of the tower.
from rounds 0-100 you generate $178994 and there are about 2,050,000 pops so if we do a quick calc, the multiplier should be around 11.5 times the price of the tower... there definitely is a better way to do this that is more balanced because i feel that this actually would be way too easy, but idk how. if anyone has some changes to do so without being overly complex i'll edit the comment

so wait if a 1000 total cost tower gets more than 11500 pops you need to upgrade it or else its bad?
it would be way too hard, as:
1. lower tier towers are far too weak to get that many pops
2. did you not see his video
3. early game is just gonna be hell

i realize that this would definitely be hard but isn't it supposed to be a challenge? in order of your response, i have will talk about why it's actually probably fine
1. yes lower tier towers probably won't get enough pops, but the core mechanic of this challenge is efficiency, you need a certain number of towers of which can get the correct number of pops. I have no doubt that this is possible and there are even cases, like possibly 2 towers chimps where this is almost a necessity
2. it is how @megamert2848 says, its a maximum number of pops not minimum to upgrade
3. i don't see how that would be a problem, in many of his challenges it doesn't matter until the end, and i was intending on that being the case in this as well, so if a tower has more than it should just upgrade it at the end
Anybody who would have come back just left again the moment they discovered that Jericho makes the game worse than it was without him.

i think some reason the game isnt doing as good as it should is because it takes ages to unlock everything and the main way to speed that up is a subscription
I started playing og battles again and boost only is so much fun powers still trash tho
