She was always a fast runner and the fastest finisher. What she has added is strength, which enables her to maintain a high speed over a long distance. The reason is that at age 29, she has started preparing for the end of her track career, and the beginning of road racing. To this end, she is practising marathons, and they say that she is already good at them. The increased endurance due to the marathon training is making it easy for her to go at these blistering paces in these middle distance races. It does not hurt that one of her stable mates is the world record holder and greatest male marathoner of all time, in Eliud Kipchoge. Her coach, Patrick Sang, is the greatest distance coach in the world. Imagine therefore, that you practise on the same football field as Pele, and your head coach is someone like Mario Zagallo; such perfectionists will hold you up to one standard only- excellence
She cannot, her trajectory is going for more longer distance with age like Obiri and Kipchoge, her chances of breaking more record is in 10K, half marathon, cross country and eventually to full marathon. 800M will be broken by Athing MU and Mary Mora has a future in that race
She enters in the Guinness book of world records,winning 3 events(1500m,5,000m,1mile) and still going strong..and the year is still young..obliterating all events...Loading 10,000m and 800m.
