Both my sons had lip and tongue ties. We got them lasered, but that didn't happen with their jaws. They were only a few weeks old when they had laser surgery though. That's great there is finally a once upon a child in Sarasota! I loved the one in Port Charlotte! You have such sweet children 💕 I love to watch your girls interacting. So cute!

I fast until 4p! That combined with a cap full of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water in the morning helped me lose 10 lbs 🙂 Make sure you’re taking vitamins or drinking a nutrition drink (I do). Plus, it seems to help gut health 😉 I feel a lot healthier 🫶🏻

My daughter Kelli was tall and more broad than chunky. She skipped 3 to 6 months sizes too. Always had to get larger sizes to accommodate her height. You have a precious family.

Intermittent fasting is what jump started my health recovery and weight loss. I was already eating fairly well (high fat, moderate protein, low carb), but once I switched to IF, I noticed a big difference. I eat at around 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM (so, a 20:4 IF). If I eat the right foods and eat only twice a day, it doesn't really matter how many calories I eat.

The reason is that whenever we eat, the body has to produce insulin, which triggers the release of cortisol, as well. These hormones are essential to our health, but when the body has to overproduce them, we gain weight. Eating only once or twice a day, without snacking in between, gives the body a break from having to produce those hormones and, without an excess of cortisol, the body doesn't store those calories as fat. Of course, eating only one or two meals of junk food isn't good, either, so the food does have to be nutritious. High fat means you'll eat a lot of calories but that's okay if it's good fat, if you're not eating bad carbs, and if you're doing IF. I hope it goes well for you!

Wonderful video! Regarding have tall daughters, my mother had that issue with my sister and I. What she did was, get some Swiss mocking (I think) it was cotton with plain lacey design and sewed on the hem to extend the hemline so the dresses weren't so short. Truly enjoyed the video today.

Lynette, we have 3 tall kiddos, and when they were little girls they liked to wear dresses a lot. I think it had more to do with not liking pants than wanting to look "girly", but regardless, finding long enough dresses was tricky. Our go to brands were Hanna Andersson and Lands End. Both can be a bit $$$, but there were always a decent amount available on eBay. Hope that helps!
I did the same thing when my children were little if I got a toy for them I couldn't wait to see thier reaction! I like to go to the good as new but very seldom buy anything thier prices are on the high side.
