There's like heroic vibe to this, like as if there was a final battle between Devil and Kazuya over 2 decades in the making and Kazuya is finally winning against Devil
My theory is that at the end of Tekken 9 Kazuya is going to separate from Devil and sacrifice himself to save Jin from Devil.

Tekken 7 has Kazuya, Akuma and Geese, so Namco technically did it before Smash

@@GVirusG Funny when you look at it: Tekken 7 is more focused on antagonists/bosses like Heihachi/Akuma/Geese, while Smash is focused on protagonists like Kazuya/Ryu/Terry.

I wouldn't really call Kazuya a protagonist, despite being a main character, he's quite the antagonist too.
I mean, would a hero kill Pit, Marth, etc.? Haha.
@@Wiziliz Protagonists depend on views of the story. In Tekken lore, there is no real hero or villain, just bastards. You pick who you believe is in the right, and then move on from there. And also, in the first Tekken Game Kazuya was the main protagonist, Jin wasn't even in it if I'm not mistaken

@MasterShake420x he's more like the main villain, and has been since tekken 2. The big twist of the original tekken was that the protagonist was actually the villain and only wanted to seize power from heihachi, and when he did he was even more ruthless and evil. The complexity was that he still had some good in him which was explored in Tekken 2 but after that game he was all in on bring devil and actually took control of the devil entirely
Tekken has no heroes or villains, just buff dudes who want other buff dudes defeated

I can't comprehend why there aren't more remixes, rearrangements, covers etc. of Kazuya's Tekken 2 Theme.
Emotionless Passion has such a bautiful melody I am whistling it every now and then since I listened to it when I was a child playing Tekken 2 on the PS1.
I once even fell asleep while being in practice mode and listening to his theme.

If Kazuya is going to go down, it needs to be in tragic, epic fashion. This is the kind of man who will make the world suffer long after he is gone. Jun could come back and fix that, she is easily the most underused character in the franchise. She may have feared confronting him all of this time, out of fear, out of love, for whatever reason. Jun needs to come back to make the story worth while again, or they need to reboot the timeline.

What they could do is simply kinda what they did and what SFV and Soul Calibur kinda did is remake the story for the new games. So with Street Fighter V you are allowed to play Street Fighter 2, etc in the sense that Bison/Akuma are the last boss and the roster is limited, and with Soul Calibur 6, it is essentially retelling the story after Soul Edge but before Soul Calibur 4 (I honestly am confused as to whether it is a strict SC1 or 2 remake, but those seem to have the same story also, and Seigfried is playable.) And finally with Tekken 7 you play through certain events in the past like boy Kazuya vs Heihachi, or Tekken 5's intro, but I think they could take it a step further and have basically everything you would need to have a full Tekken 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 experience. Obviously that would mean having Boss characters like Ogre and Jinpachi come back again, as well as have Heihachi again, but if they brought Joker back in Injustice 2, why not? Azazel is kinda tricky though, he can be a superboss. They can make it called Tekken 7: Dark Resurrection or something just so the Tekken 7 characters that die at least are true.

@@epicmaj8r no where as good as be in the mirror or emotionless passion the original or tekken 3s soundtracks like ogre stage theme Paul phoniex tekken 3 stage theme soundtracks like that some of them where good in both the arcade and the other versions of those tekken 3 songs.forest laws theme in tekken 3 not the arcade but the other was also there's several snd this tekken 7 heat haze doesn't quite cut it.its ok though decent ish but not on the level of be in the mirror in tekken 2
