I show you the experience of eating a lovely meal, drinking a fancy cotton-tini, checking out dozens of large animatronic dinosaurs and meteor showers, the different themed rooms including the forest, ice cave and under the sea bar area, and share some fun facts and background information about this restaurant, alternatively called T-Rex Cafe, T-Rex Restaurant, or just T-Rex for short! I've enjoyed every trip to T-Rex. The food is good. As far as the atmosphere, it gets a bit loud, but extincts.
T-rex is my favorite place to eat in all of Walt Disney World.
I love how you're not overly critical of restaurants.
I go in to have a good time and share the experience :) I always address this in my dining experience vids as well.

I’ve been here 2x and both times were awesome. Ice Room and the Ocean side. My kids love it and we eat basic food so it’s more atmosphere for us. We had reservations both times and I recommend that as the lines are tremendous! Reminds me of a Rainforest Cafe as well.

been going here every Disney trip since it opened. My kids love it.
We have Landry select members for years and love it, we dine in both rainforest cafes and T Rex, as adults alone. Besure to always tell them your a laundry member you will never need a reservation, and hardly ever wait, we were seated in 10mins at T Rex on a Saturday night during a 2 hour wait!

This was one of my favorite things as a kid, they have a little pin you can find bones at in rocks and sand and such and to a kid all the dinosaurs and lights and sounds are so euphoric

Thanks for bringing us along! I must say, we’ve tried TRex a few trips ago. Glad the food was good, maybe the switch of companies has improved it. I do love the immersive experience for sure (& yes, my young one was a bit terrified 🤣) But still fun. 👍😎🤩❤️

I’ve always thought about going here for dinner but thought it would have weird food but when you opened that menu, my vegan intuition zoned in on that beyond burger! Yay! Loved this video! This is the place I’ve been wanting to go to. Wow, great ambience. Food looked good, drinks too. Little expensive, but that’s the ambience pricing for you. But to at least try it once, would be fun. Thanks for all the info! Glad you enjoyed your food!

The atmosphere of T-Rex is so amazing. The ice cave, the forest, the meteor showers, what's not to love?
And that Argentinosaurus in front of the restaurant is a full-size replica of the one real-life specimen discovered on someone's farm in northern Patagonia. One of the largest known land animals of all time

Never eaten at T-rex but like their gift shop. Some funny shirts making fun of T-Rex tiny arms. :) We usually opt for RFCafe not that it's all that great. We usually just go to the bar. Love the theming at both!

You know that you are a big fan when you could remember the vid where you were at Yak and Yedis and used your $25 discount. Great vid.....I never been , but I can sense a huge Rainforest Cafe vibe.
I needed this! We are planning to go at the end of the month for my sons bday on the first day of our Disney trip. I was so weary with some of the reviews but you've made me less concerned!
Oh I’m so glad!!! I think people sometimes just go in looking for it to be bad without giving it a chance and realizing not only it is fun, but the service is awesome and there is other food to try!!

We really miss T-rex,we come over from Scotland for 4 weeks in December,Landry card is fantastic for being seated right away,even at Christmas.Love your videos Jackie,watching you and Nate is keeping us sane till we get back.
When my family went there for September, the food was surprisingly great! The service was very friendly too. My two year old son who loves dinosaurs loved it but my 9 year old daughter was freaking out a bit 😂

I agree. So often I'm told, it's a kids place. Then again I read an article where the author criticized adult Disney guests for vacationing at a kids place. Some people don't know what fun is

I really like their food, but my expectations aren’t always high and I like “kid food”, but I may get that steak next time. I also love the cottontini’s! The atmosphere alone is worth it. I feel like I’m there with you! I enjoy your videos as it’s all about the experience! Most of us aren’t food critics and just want a tasty meal.
