I love Earth. I would miss her. I wouldn't miss the bs but that isn't her is it.
One of the reasons this is so soothing and peaceful is that this the sound the umbilical cord makes inside the womb. You heard this noise for 9 months straight when there was no hot or cold, no danger, no hunger, no loneliness. You lived inside your mommy and, regardless of what your relationship with you she had/has, for this 9-month period all you had from her body was unconditional love and protection.
(I'm writing this as my newborn daughter fell asleep in my arms. White noise always helps😊)

The white noise is calming but does anyone else hear talking every once in awhile in the background? I was listening to this in my headphones and woke up then sat bolt upright for a moment, took my earphones out and listened. I believe it was the video, because all of my roomates are at work and I am home alone. I just managed to fall asleep and heard talking and got scared. I am trying to go back to sleep cause I have to get up for work today at 10.

This is perfect. I don’t know why so many interpretations of space have to be colorful I find a dark room peering into the blackness of space far more relaxing.
I had to comment on this video again. The audio in this video is 100% a work of art. I listen to it almost every night. It's amazingly good. It's a shame that UA-cam doesn't allow creators to truly benefit from their work the way they should.

The common mistake in rendering star fields for entertainment is to show a dark background with many little bright objects passing. In reality, the cosmic panorama beyond our atmosphere would be crammed with abundant stars and galaxies, and they would not appear to move.
I really need to see a visual representation of this.

@@kyiixvii think of it as looking at the night's sky, that's what you should be seeing inside the ship. just a dark space littered with dots in the distance, nothing would be moving. you can check out elite dangerous, if you want.

This video has the perfect balance of noise for me personally. It doesn't have the extra baritone layer others have that make them more harsh. This one is smooth and makes me zonk out instantly and I can play it loud to cover all other noise.

When I was a kid and watched Star Trek I was always mind-blown that the Star Ship Enterprise could travel so fast that stars would zoom by! Then I got older and realized it was made with effects and cameras. I was kinda disappointed about that discovery tbh, haha.

If you have a smart tv, you can just pull this up on the UA-cam app and you can play it on a loop. :) Same with your laptop. Agreed, perfect background sound for reading/studying! 🙌

I used to fantasize what it would be like sleeping on the Star Ship Enterprise - but this will do for now.
I realize by the time of TNG they had perfected forcefields, but I think I would be too afraid to sleep in any quarters that had a "window". Failsafes or not, enough damage or power loss and your bedroom is exposed to vacuum.
Working with this in background is so overpowered, nobody can take me of what im working on and it helps me a lot to learn my courses !

In order for stars to be actually moving by the ship it would have to be going extremely fast. For perspective, The nearest star is 4 light years away. To move the night sky around you, you would have to be going many orders of magnitude faster than the speed of light.
This reminds me of early years, when I was spacing the fck out while watching the Windows 2000/XP screensaver, like it was some Interstellar kind of thing instead of just flying pixels

Oh how incredibly peaceful it is.
Some look out into the void and are completely at a loss for words, unable to comprehend the endless ocean of stars and the vastness that is the universe.
No sound, no gravity, nothing holding you back. Pure bliss is what that is.
I always struggled studying to music till I found this kinda stuff. This one is my fav to get me hyperfocused on priorities :’)
Imagine your at home and you got this dream that would be scary and sad and amazing.
It depresses me to know that I'll never live to see the true Space Age hundreds of years from now, when this kind of travel is routine and we have colonized Mars, the Moon, Europa and probably beyond the system.

None of these ambience vides truly capture the sound feel of any of their scenarios. But this one is pretty damn close so lemme say good job
Are we traveling thru space or is space traveling thru us? Also, do we have lawn chairs and wood floors? Oh one more thing. Is that just a memory foam mattress with no sheets (like those annoying elastic corner sheets omg I hate them)? This seems more like smoking pcp in a trap house to me. But I guess people do sometimes pass out in trap houses so you nailed it! Even the stars kinda remind me of slow motion bullets from the cops in a drug related shoot out. Throw an ashtray on that little table and this is damn near perfect.
