This is the most fantastic thing I've ever discovered on the internet. I grew up listening to this cassette tape. I still have it. It's my favorite Christmas album ever . . . for sentimental reasons. However, I never knew until tonight that there is a VIDEO TO GO ALONG WITH IT!!!
Alright, who here wants to bet that wasn't actually Looney Bird's mother, but Fatz making her voice using the Tune Machine to trick Looney into singing his song.
There's a bit of sadness behind this tape. For one thing, ShowBiz Pizza Time's production values involving the animatronics performing against a green screen background like the Pizza Time Theatre tapes is on full display here. This is the only RAE showtape I know of that uses this method, however. Also, this was the last Rock-Afire Explosion Christmas show. The writing was still high-caliber, though. I wonder if CEI had both recording AND writing rights, while ShowBiz had the programming rights (they tended to be incompetent in the programming department).
Do you know what I like about Shelby’s pizza that I don’t like about Chuck E. Cheese they actually try to keep the magic of the karatage being alive because like Chuck E. Cheese the guy in the costume they don’t care like they don’t even close the curtains and they just have two Chuckies out there
