insanely nostalgic, made me cry a little bit. as i’ve gotten older i’ve drifted from bvb, but i remember crying to savior when i was 13 years old, as cheesy and cliche as it sounds that song saved me many times. i felt so alone, helpless, but i could always ground myself with savior (or carolyn). i wouldn’t be who i am without that song, crying my eyes out when andy broke his ribs, all the old crack complications, making edits, fanpages, all of it. i wish 13 year old me could listen to this, and see me now. the lyrics to this song remind me of how i’ve felt toward this band forever, ive enjoyed growing up with you guys🥺
I relate to this so heavily, every bit of it. I used to fall asleep listening to their stuff and watching their interviews with BryanStars, it was the pick-me-up that I needed at that time. And this is a perfect call back to that time.

This. Everything about this I relate to. I remember being 16 just crying alone in my room to Savior playing in my headphones. How alone I felt and this band always felt like family to me. Like someone out there was listening to things i never said. I'm 26 now and though life isn't perfect, I'm still here, have a beautiful 3 year old son to live for and I honestly didn't think i would have made it here

I was a 12- or 13-year-old when I started listening to Black Veil Brides - I was a schoolgirl and had a classmate who isn't listening to their music, so I've had to stop because of him. Now I'm an 18-year-old who's addicted to Black Veil Brides. I like their lead singer, I like his voice, I like his eyes, I like his tattoos, he looks like a motorcyclist and he has a pretty face, I like his warpaint, I like his 2010 hairstyle and I don't care what haters say, I won't stop listening to their music
Black Veil Brides were the reason I became a musician in the first place. Their music got me through some of the hardest times of my life. Saviour II is a love letter to all of us. I went to the Denver show at the Oriental Theater the other night and I truly felt connected with everyone in the room. I love these guys, and I love all of you. Over a decade later and we're all still together and all stronger than we were before! Rock on into the eternal night; BVB army forever!🖤

This song feels like a love letter from the band straight to the fans. I got chills the moment the song started and the 2nd verse really touched my heart. As a longtime BVB fan, I’ve never been as emotional about a song as I have been about this one and it’s mind blowing you guys. Thank you Andy, CC, Jinxx, Jake and Lonny for all you’ve done for us BVB fans. You lifted us up, gave us courage in our times of fearfulness and gave us strength in our times of sorrows. This band has been my favorite for a long time I actually stumbled into the band while on my space and heard the original we stitch these wounds. Ever since then I was hooked and have enjoyed their music.

Beautiful song. And I like that he points at the Cross when singing "you're the one born to save", because Jesus was indeed the one who was born to Save us, to give us hope, and to love us. And I'm forever grateful for that.

And the big stain glass window you see; his step dad made that for the church the family goes to.(jinxx stated all this in a post on Instagram) Its a beautiful song.

My life was full of pain, misery and sorrow. I've lost people who i loved so dearly. Had a teenage life with a abusive stepmother. But I after all that I've faced, I finally made a decision to give it all up to God. I believe that God can guide me through this world of darkness and cruelty. This song has made me feel more confident that my life will be worth it, but never wasted.
The emotion in this, not just the lyrics, but the music itself is heart-wrenching. It's beautiful.
@prajna Of course Andy's voice is amazing, and the lyrics are wonderful and touching. But the composition of the music itself is what grabbed me. You can truly feel the emotion in every note. This is a song that could be stripped down to even just a single instrument and still be hauntingly beautiful. Jinxx is an incredibly talented composer and musician., and this song illustrates that. It's raw emotion, exposed and vulnerable.

I'm 40 now, and have realized that it's easier to focus my energy on helping others in need. I'm going to medical assistant school and hoping to keep going to become a nurse. I was a preteen when I first listened to the original Savior song and, though I haven't listened to your music in a long time, this brings back memories of a time when my life was so chaotic, with everything feeling so hopeless that life didn't feel like it was worth living. People made fun of me for liking this kind of music, but it gave me back the hope I had lost and made me who I am today. I had no plans to live past the age of 16, I'm 24 now, about to be 25 - I made it, thanks to you and so many other bands like you. Thank you for giving me my life back, you'll never know how much it means to still be here.
This song makes me think of a girl in high school. She was beautiful, witty, and kind to everyone she met. Not one soul could say a negative thing about her. I went to a catholic high school, and in a place full of hypocrites, she really made me want to step up and be a light. I know several people have different beliefs, but I feel like God put her in my life to see what could be done. I hope she is doing well and all of you listening/watching. I don’t know how Andy would feel about making a song for a wayward Christian like me lol.

I've been reading the comments and it's incredible to see the amount of lives this band has touched, mine included. This is a band with their best days ahead of them. Whilst Wretched and Divine is my favourite album of all time, The Phantom Tomorrow was incredible. They have really matured as musicians and are excellent at their craft. Thank you Black Veil Brides.

Like i told them in person while not trying to cry in front of them…if it wasn’t for them as a band and their music I would have been dead. Because i was so depressed and no one noticed me. I was bullied for many reasons, for being gay, for reading fantasy books, for having schizophrenia and for listening rock and metal music, but Black Veil Brides was my help during those times. There is a very interesting juxtaposition with the fact that this is BVB and they have orchestral instruments but at the same time there are very subtly christian sounding lyrics and having a band whose imagery normally wouldnt lead to that, in this beautiful church setting. All in all, I love everything about this and about BVB. Andy, CC, Jinxx, John and Lonny are all amazingly talented and have provided the army with so many uplifting moments and songs. I have loved to see the transformation of not only Andy and his vocal range, but the band as a whole over the years.
When I was younger I was always afraid to dive deeper into the emo scene because I was told I needed to find something “happier.” People don’t understand what this music means to so many of us. I’m just sorry I didn’t learn that earlier than a few years ago. BVB have quickly become a top band for me for the messages in their songs. This is healing my inner child/teen that only wanted to hear that it’s okay to not be able to always be happy. It’s the hug I never got. And it’s comforting to know there’s a whole community still out there that understands that same thing. Emo music wasn’t what people saw on the surface as “nonconformist.” It’s so so so much more. The words many of us couldn’t speak are in these songs. Love to BVB and love to all of those out there that are struggling and haven’t lost the fight yet. I see you and you’re worth so much more than you know.
Bvb was probably my fav band 10 years ago (you can probably tell from my name which I never bothered to change). It was my gateway band and I followed them closely up until set the world on fire. Although I don't listen to them much anymore, this song takes me back. Solid track and very reminiscent of saviour 1.0. Great stuff.

This means so much to me, Saviour kept me alive when I thought I wasn't going to be able to pull through. So knowing I lived long enough to hear Saviour II just reminds me of how much this band has done for me
I found this band when I was in high school and they have been my favorite band ever since then I am currently 29 years old I found them that I was 17 and I love every single song they ever release!
