German grip 4-eva! I'll roll slightly to an American grip if I need things to get bouncier, but I don't think I ever use French grip, I just don't feel like I have enough control.
French grip is great for blasting, but when it comes to drum fills on the toms it can be difficult to control. That's why I switch between german / american / french.
@@CameronFleury it always is ... it's way helpful bro as even if I play 35+ years it;s important always to get back to the basics even mentally to see if there is anything left that can be pushed up to raise the whole barrier ...
