I've played/watched this game 4 times and I NEVER realized that the girl Sojiro talks about in the beginning "heard she was only 15" was fucking Kasumi
1:11:57 this probably was said thousands of times before but imagine if we didn't see Akechi kill Okumura so we really thought we messed up somehow or didn't see him dissappear before the Palace fell apart as we did with the others

Maybe they could've had the black mask be hidden in the background of cutscenes since many of the palace rulers said they saw him. Or the cliche camera zooms out to the black mask watching them from up high
Yeah, I feel your suggestion would help so much since this scene makes the Pancake thing painfully obvious killing the entire twist set up preemptively. By not knowing he was there leaves more options story wise in turn making the twist more impactful.

19:00 I'm still watching, but in the 2nd palace you don't need to have a matching persona arcana for the Sun confidant, it's set to always rank up after every meeting regardless of your answers. For some reason you can choose answers that shows more notes, but it doesn't matter, they'll always rank up.
I always take advantage of this by picking the worst choices on the first stage when it doesn’t matter for NG+ confidants I only grab rank 1 for the free bonus abilities
Fun fact: Yoshida and Mishima are the only confidants that progress without making use of their notes and arcana bonuses. You dont even have to choose the "correct" options because all of them progress you the same way
I wish I knew this on my first playthrough, I hate when characters are lowkey bad people and I have to suck up to them to increase the social link. To be clear I’m specifically referring to Mishima, Yoshida is cool
It’s kinda nice symbolism since they are the moon and soon, everytime the night ends the sun comes up and everytime the sun goes down the moon appears. That being said I want to strangle the moon so badly

Amazing and entertaining run overall! I'm glad Yusuke's getting love after being neglected in many challenge runs for his lack of versatility. Our eccentric artist deserves time in the spotlight and his quirky friendship with Futaba is always so funny.
After watching this I kinda wish it was a real difficulty mode, it just makes you really pay attention to mechanics that you can usually ignore in a ordinary play through, I’m already imagining different strategies to get though the game
I think to make it more balanced to a vanilla difficulty, theyd probably only make neutral into weaknesses- maybe resists too, but I think immunities would stay immunities

Story: Persona 4 has a masterpiece plot with expertly crafted dialogue that's engaging to read throughout, Sekiro literally has nothing of note Gameplay: Persona 4 has really fun mechanics and a well designed RPG battle system and social link system, while Sekiro has pretty clunky and not very fun action gameplay that's probably one of the least interesting action games I've ever played Visual style: Persona 4 has colors and a unique and visually appealing art style, while Sekiro has generic realism with a distinct lack of colors and anything visually engaging. I think the next step to take with this challenge is "Enemies resist everything", and if that's possible, which it probably is, combine the two for "Enemies resist everything and We're weak to everything." Although the combination I imagine would probably be impossible due to some early game fights.

Seriously though, is it a common trend for Persona games having a "bad ending" where everyone is happy and living in blissful ignorance? Persona 3 had that too. I never played Persona 4, so, I dunno if or not that it too has an ending where everyone is happy that is considered the bad ending to the game. I don't understand why people hate on Persona 5's Mementos. It's basically Persona 3's Tartarus with extra stuff. I don't see anyone hating on Persona 3's Tartarus and treating it the worst part of the game. If anything, Persona 3's Tartarus is inferior to Mementos
Tartarus is enhanced by Shadow AI being more interesting and difficult- Mementos boils down to driving around and mashing A when enemies are nearby to land an instakill
I gave up on finishing this game when halfway through I had to change the difficulty to Merciless to actually get through a boss fight, which was very confusing when you're playing on the easiest difficulty... It was the last straw on top of the anxiety the calendar/confidant system was giving me ^^; Very nice to now be able to experience the story all the way, through this very well made challenge :-)

Quick sidenote for Yoshida: His Sun confidant is automatic, and you will always rank him up regardless of how many points you have with him, so it's another confidant that doesn't require a persona in your stock for more points

No matter what challenge we’re in. the Shido fight is so fun. The devs really struck gold designing this fight, easily the best Persona boss fight.
Personally I think Nyx in Persona 3 is the best. You just can't beat the atmosphere in that fight.

I almost gave up, but I persevered and just grinder a few levels. Wasn’t fun, but it allowed me to experience the rest of the game myself.

Every Sunday the jazz club can give you a skill and you can look up what day gives what skills also if you use the church then the skills become ng+
Quick sidenote for Yoshida: His Sun confidant is automatic, and you will always rank him up regardless of how many points you have with him, so it's another confidant that doesn't require a persona in your stock for more points
