  • The book of Acts chronicles the story of the Holy Spirit being received by different kinds of people. Time and time again the Jewish people were shocked by what they saw. By the end of Acts, Luke (the author) may have left a clue about the Holy Spirit and you. Join Kyle to explore.

Cool side note. LOL! Call it "some potential ammo if necessary"... 🙃
    It is EXTREMELY subtle.
During the time period of Acts 16:6-10 is when Luke accompanied Paul on the missionary journey and continued taking notes as to what was happening.
First, it needs to be noted that DURING THAT TIME was when Paul got that vision of Macedonia. AFTER THAT VISION was when Luke joined Paul.
The subtlety is in the pronoun. Watch close: In verses 6 and 8, Luke was taking notes, telling of the account of what THEY (Paul and Silas) were doing. Beginning in verse 10, Luke was taking account of where WE (Paul, Silas, Luke) were going and why.
Interesting, to say the least. Note of thanks to the late Ray Stedman for pointing out THAT one in a sermon.
