We probably own 12 pairs of Skechers in our family of runners, and various models. Great shoes at low prices. With discounts, usually around $50. The original Razor 3 is still my favorite, you can literally use that shoe for any type of training and then throw on the Razor Elite or the Mebs for races. The Mebs are 5 ounces and have a flexible plate, the Razor Elite is stiffer, but more cushioned.
Unfortunately it's not one we've been able to test. In general Skechers shoes have been hard to come by in the UK until recently, so we're catching up!
For track workouts specifically, would you choose the speed elite or Nike Streakfly? The Streakfly seems a bit softer and able to absorb some of the pounding (saving the legs), but as some have mentioned it can be a bit unstable at higher paces. Thoughts?
@@TheRunTesters well the only nitro infused foam o have is on the liberate puma. Those don't really break at all. But they have a nice even slab of continental tires under them .. that's why
I see Nick and Mike are influencing Tom in the sock department, very colourful!
Haha, hard to get Tom away from all black!

Thanks Nick for another video.
I'm interested in what you you would think of the original Razor 3. It's such a good fast all purpose trainer.

Nick, you should try the GOrun Speed Freek for fast and long runs (half marathon and up).
Very keen to try that one for sure

Are these good for the road?
For some odd reason, Skechers running shoes are hard to come by in my area. Not even the Skechers stores carry them.
Skechers stores usually don't carry Skechers Performance products.
The Skechers online store usually carry them.
That foam is gonna be gone so fast... But does look fast
Not sure on durability yet but these nitro-infused foams usually aren't too bad for that?

Ah yes the exposed outsole on the Speed Elite will get chewed up for sure
I put 1,000+ on the razor 3 hypers.. they are tearing on the sides finally but still putting treadmill miles on them
