That name does not mean "God" in Hebrew. Yahweh, or Yehovah, however one chooses to pronounce it, is God's name.
He could have chosen "elohim" if he wanted to just say god in Hebrew.
Still, terrible choice to use His name as your own.
Yahweh is just the English transliteration to Yehovah. I am not pleased with the use of the name. Jews wont even pronounce the name because they consider it too Holy and this guy is parading it around with music God wouldn't approve of. Not to mention he has no talent. After checking out his songs its all music industry over processed garbage like most of what we are fed. You never know what the artists voice sounds like anymore because of autotune. And this is not just rap and hiphop. There are a ton of bands with barely any talent all sounding great through pc software now.
@@vikinglife6316 No, some people believe Yahweh is the Hebrew name of God, not just the transliteration. I believe it's Yehovah, though. One day, we'll know for sure. 😊
@@CRey-yx2ow The Hebrew consonants have always been YHVH. When transliterated into English the Y becomes a J and V becomes a W. There is no other example anywhere in the old testament where W is used in a Hebrew name. This is not a matter of preference. Its literally translating one type of alphabet into another one.Same thing with Jesus. In Greek there is no J it is I, but when transliterated into English it becomes J. This is not a matter of what people think it is. This is simply how language translates into other alphabets. The only reason Jehovah exists is because the vowels in Adonai were added to the tetragrammaton to create Jehovah. Its a hybrid word. There is no debate here. Its what it is. This idea that one person claims its spelled with a J or W is nonsense. No one is wrong. Its all correct because of how language translates.
King Slechtvalk That was based on a tradition of false belief though. If Jesus prayed for God’s name to be sanctified and if everlasting life depends on knowing Jehovah and Jesus, then doesn’t it stand that He would want us to use His name? Think about it. Though I do have to agree it’s a bit on the nose to use it as a musical alias.
The word is sacred and is not meant to be spoken. Very ignorant of him to use that word as a stage name.
The true and living God will deal with him
YHWH is the name on God and for you to use such a name is extremely offensive to hundreds of millions of people but most importantly against the creator.
Blasphemy , he makes good music but I think many would classify it as disrespectful.
👑🙏
Uncultured fellow. He gone have a sad ending for sure.
I’m fluent in Hebrew and I can assure you ‘Yahweh’ means nothing, it just isn’t a Hebrew word. I think if he learned some actual Hebrew before choosing a name, it would be a lot less humiliating.
man he's from the tribe of YUDAH to 😪😔
THESE DUDES SMH AINT KEEPIN NO LAWS BUT WANNA REP YAHWEH HIS NAME IS YAHAWAH
Disgusting, no respect
You can use the name - Jehovah wants to be known (Psalm 83:18) but not for this bullshit and not for the own use. His name is saint.
He seems like a cool guy. Stupid name tho.
All these angry jews 🤣 chill it's his name
You’ll find out soon for blaspheming 🤫🤫
