Time needed to clear UPSC in 1st attempt?

- How many days do you think you need to prepare for UPSC civil service exam? At least in order to clear for your first attempt. 300 days, 400 days, 500 days. Let me know in the comments before I tell you the answer. Because it will take you at least 700-800 days even if you are clearing UPSC in your first attempt. If you start preparing from today, so there are some 330 days of prelims. After that, the period from prelims to end result, you will be studying there as well. Some people will say that if I have an interview, I have 4 months to complete it, so I won't complete 300 days. But keep in mind, nobody really knows if I will get selected or not. A lot of people make it to the interview in the first time, but then don't get selected. So you will be preparing for prelims there as well. So at least 700-800 days is the answer for you.

UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

It's not about UPSC in any field if u worked hard for 1000 days non stop than nothing can stop u from being successful 😊
Yes But in that 1000 day period you have to only focus on that work
Acc to me...1000 days is minimally required from Day1 to Result day
With atleast 8hours/day...6days/week...2-3 months before exam atleast 12 hours
No need
Kr lena bhai itni consistency se 😂😂
You are right.
It depends. Every individual is unique and different. Also the situations are different. So i think there is no clear cut answer.🙏🏻

Average ki baat ho Rahi hai
This is only for those who are already very disciplined. Otherwise minimum 1.5-2 years before the prelims are required.
TRUE.
How many days in a year?Sir counted 700 days ..matlab same hi toh chiz bola
@@Godfavourite01I said before prelims
This is a bit too much
You can't generalize
Sonetimes even indisciplined people can crack in 6 months
Because the thing you need is only one in this exam - CONSISTENCY

There's no standard preparation for UPSC. The subject matter is massive and it's best to study little by little every day in regular life than a focused preparation. Just my opinion.
🙃I started preparing from 5th feb,2024 and cracked the prelims this year itself 🙏🏻my optional is not ready neither have covered gs fully but felt grateful towards god that he set me free from this sort of mind barriers

🍁 Sir please make a video on..
Does Graduation from best institute really helps in personality development or in upsc interview..
Aur agar jo Popular University se nhi kiye Hain to kya interview mein unhe neglect kiya jayega
Well best institute can certainly give you more opportunities, best faculty, good teachers and more to explore. But it doesn't really matters in upsc interview, if you have graduated from best institute that's good for you but if you are not then also it's ok, it won't make interviewers ignore you. What upsc interested in is your personality according to how you answer them. If you're graduated from best institute but don't have knowledge and your personality is bad then you are f**ked up too😂
😊❤

If we start from august this year , do you believe sir we have good chances if we have good grasp of around 75% of the syllabus ?
You do have a chance.
But how good of a chance will depend on what level you are starting at and how disciplined you are for the next 10 months.
