The loopy now is what I learned many years ago when I took a flower arranging class in high school. I just finished crocheting a cover for a white foam wreath, and then I crocheted succulents, stitched then to the wreath cover, and then made a loopy now with twine with leaves attached to the twine, and then I attached the now to the wreath cover.
Heidi, this video is GOLD! It is exactly what I need! Thank you! I am so bad at making bows! I am excited now and I can always come back to your video if I need to make one 😃
I was so excited when I saw this premiere this morning! I will be revisiting this again the next time I do a DIY and need to make one of these bows! I'm so glad you made this Heidi! I have never been good at bows. You did a great job of explaining how to easily make all of these. 🙌👏💕👍
Thank you! That will be very helpful for me especially when working with ribbon that isn’t double sided, or that isn’t wired, fabric, and gift bows! Now I can just refer back to this video and watch it over as I’m making one. I haven’t checked IG in a couple days, but I did tag you in the bunny on the garden post, or whatever you call the metal piece lol. I made a bow that was of course not perfect lol and stuck it down into a planter pot topped with reindeer moss and DT carrots because at that time, I hadn’t made the carrots yet. I did make them later that day after I posted but haven’t shown them yet. The first two came out a bit wonky lol but the last two were better. Everything takes a little practice though, right? Lol I will try and remember to tag you in those as well. I haven’t had the IG account for too long so I’m still getting used to it and don’t have much on there yet, so my page is slightly boring. Lol Thanks for sharing this very helpful video! 😊💜🤗
This video is a MUST for anyone/everyone who does crafting of any type (paper or otherwise) or who wraps a gift. Thanks so much for sharing this awesome video Heidi....I’ve already shared it with some of my pals. I hope things were successful at school the other day. 🙏🏻 Enjoy the rest of your week. 🤗 #kindnessmatters
Heidi Sonboul You are truly so kind and thoughtful. It’s 4/6 and this year’s a biggie! I’ll be 60 and can’t believe it. Lol Turnabout is fair play tho...don’t make me guess yours. Lol
Hello, Heidi. I had no idea such a tutorial would be this interesting. Then again, it's you. You are charming and your tutorials are always well thought out and articulately presented. Cheers, Ardith P.S. I hope your son is doing well and that the school has taken steps to help him and provide a safer, kinder environment for all students.
@@HeidiSonboulDIY Ha, I already shared it on Pinterest. Unfortunately, I'm not on Facebook or I would have posted there as well. If the program change makes you and your son happy, Heidi, then I'm happy. Cheers, Ardith
This is sooooooo helpful, Heidi! I've struggled with bows for years. Now I need to buy a new glue gun. Mine is vintage, the kind you push the glue stick through with your thumb, so I quit using it years ago and switched to Tacky Glue! That won't work for these bows, so a new glue gun is a must. Thanks for this tutorial. Now I will be able to make decent bows! LOL!
Love your bows, I’m definitely going to make the ticking material bow. I thought it said “fabric bowls”...lol Now I’m curious if someone is making fabric bowls, I just woke up.🤪
Holy cow!!!! My mind is BLOWN! I’ve been doing it wrong all along. I love you!!! Thank you.
So pretty. I love using the wired ribbons because they are so much easier to manipulate. Great video sissy. Tfs
Lovely!
I used to make hair bows for my girls a billion years ago.
Nice to see the hot glue for ease.😍
